formation and instructions.

Read the instructions completely before installing
and using the product.

Only use the product for the intended use as
mentioned in these instructions.

Failure to comply with the safety information and
directives given in these instructions or with the
accident prevention regulations and general
safety regulations relevant to the field of
application shall exempt the manufacturer or its
representative from all liability and shall render
any damage claims null and void.
•
Keep all safety information and instructions for
future reference.
•
Never make any modifications or changes to the
product that have not been expressly approved
by the manufacturer.
•
Only use genuine spare parts of the
manufacturer. Incorrect or faulty spare parts can
cause damage, malfunctions or even a total
failure of the product.
•
Dock shelters are not a toy. Keep away from
children and animals.
•
Check whether the selected fastening material
are suitable for the respective structural
conditions. Only use suitable fastening material.
•
Only use suitable and appropriate tools!
•
Carry out the steps according to the sequence
indicated in the assembly illustrations!
•
The components to be used are made of high-
quality, durable and solid materials. However,
take good care during installation in order to
avoid damages.
2.1
Intended use
Dock shelters serve to seal the space between
means of transportation (e.g. trucks) and a building or
lock. They protect against draughts, rain and wind as
well as possible damage to the load.
This assembly manual must be kept for the entire period of use!
2.2
Foreseeable misuse
Any use other than described in chapter Intended use
is regarded as reasonably foreseeable misuse. This
particularly applies to the following cases:
•
If the product is not used in accordance with the
intended purpose.
•
If changes or modifications have been made on
the dock shelter or its components.
•
In the event of failure to observe the assembly
instructions, the respectively applicable country-
specific norms or applicable safety regulations.
•
If the dock shelter is not in a perfectly safe
condition.
Any damage or injury as a result of reasonably fore-
seeable misuse and / or of not following the assembly
instructions will render the manufacturer's liability null
and void.
2.3
Personnel qualifications
Only competent assemblers are authorised to carry
out assembly and disassembly.
Competent assemblers are defined as persons who
have been given the necessary instructions and who
are by way of training and/or experience and know-
ledge qualified and authorised to carry out the re-
quired tasks correctly and safely.
2.4
