PE Pool cover
The PE cover is not a safety cover and it does not prevent from falling someone into the pool! Even if the cover
is stretched, children and pets must be supervised if they are near the pool or access to the pool is possible.
The PE cover also does not prevent the rainwater from entering the pool. It only prevents the ingress of coarse
dirt (leaves, branches, insects, etc.) into the pool.
To ensure good functionality and durability, follow the installation instructions.
For free standing and partially embedded pools:
1 Check the pool and its surroundings for sharp edges or corners and either remove or overlay them with
adhesive tape etc.
2 Now thread the tensioning cable (included) through the holes in the PE-cover. The tensioning cable is
alternately threaded in from the outside and vice versa (see picture).
3 Place the PE cover over your pool so that it extends from all sides about 30 cm and hangs on the pool
wall. The cover is manufactured with an overhang, i.e. if you order a cover for a round pool with diameter
3.0 m, you will receive a cover with diameter of 3.6 m - 3.8 m.
4 Subsequently, both ends of the tensioning cable pass through the ratchet and pull them out until the
ratchet rests against the pool wall. If you have a steel-wall pool, we recommend using some pad to avoid
damaging the steel walls.
5 Finally, the tensioning cable is fastened using the ratchet. To do so, turn the lever until you fasten the rope
so tightly that no bumps or the like could lift the cover.
To release the tensioning cable, loosen the locking lever on the ratchet and turn the tension lever in the
opposite direction to the tensioning of rope.
For fully embedded swimming pools:
1 Check the pool and its surroundings for sharp edges or corners and either remove or overlay them with
adhesive tape etc.
2 Place the PE cover over your pool so that it extends from all sides about 30 cm. The cover is manufactured
with an overhang, i.e. if you order a cover for a round pool with diameter 3.0 m, you will receive a cover
with diameter of 3.6 m - 3.8 m.
3 If the cover is aligned and is slightly tensioned over the pool, the cover can be fastened or weighted.
If the cover lies on a soft ground (lawn, soil, etc.), it can be stretched and fastened using ground pins
If the cover lies on a solid surface (concrete, pavement, etc.), it is necessary to weigh down the edge of
the cover over the entire perimeter of the pool. Do not use sharp objects such as sharp stones for this
purpose! Suitable are sacks with sand, round stones or similar heavy objects.
Mounting material for fully in-ground pools is not included!
