DiStribution terminal with fuSe
The distribution terminal makes it easy to attach extra
components, such as switch modules, to the driving
battery. There is no need to disconnect the battery lead
to do this.
There are 2 spring-loaded terminals on the board. The
red 5-pole terminal is connected to the positive pole
via a self-resetting fuse and the black 3-pole terminal is
connected directly to the negative pole.

If there is a short-circuit, the fuse quickly becomes high
ohmic and interrupts the current flow almost comple-
tely. It maintains this state for as long as the short- circuit
lasts. Only after the short circuit is removed does the
fuse return to its initial state after a short time. Owing to
the fuse's sluggish response, even higher currents are
possible briefly.
