Parts and Parts List: Make sure that you have all the required components. If you don't have all the parts, don't start the
assembly because an incomplete structure can be severely damaged even by a light wind. Divide the contents of the
package according to the part numbers as you check them. The f irst steps include instructions on how to assemble the
larger components that will be used at a later stage of the assembly. Familiarise yourself with all the parts and f asteners.
Keep an eye on the weather: Do not attempt to carry out the assembly during adverse conditions.
Collaboration: If possible, the assembly should be carried out by two or more people. One person can hold the panels
while another bolts them to the structure.
Location: The hut must not be placed in an open area where it may be exposed to strong gusts of wind. The product
must not be mounted in areas exposed to persistent, severe snowf all, f or example under a sloped roof of a neighbouring
building. Avoid wooded areas. Tree branches and f allen leaves pose a threat to the structure.
Finish: To ensure long-lasting durability, periodically clean and wax the exterior surf ace. Remove scrapes/scratches as
soon as you notice them. Clean the surf ace with a wire brush or sandpaper, then wash and apply touch -up paint.
Roof: Clean the surf ace and remove leaves and snow with a sof t-bristled broom. Large amounts of snow on the cover
may damage the structure.
Door: always keep the door tracks f ree of sand and other particles to ensure smooth sliding. Lubricate the tracks with
f urniture care product or silicone spray every year.
Keep the door closed to prevent wind damage.
Fasteners: Regularly inspect all bolts, nuts and rivets, etc., and tighten if necessary.
The site should be even and levelled, as well as clear of any stones or other obstacles. The base can be made of wood or
concrete in order to protect the product f rom excessive moisture coming f rom the ground . THE STORAGE
COMPARTMENT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR DIRECT MOUNTING ON THE GROUND.
An anchor kit can be used f or assembly (to be purchased separately). If installed on concrete, it is recommended that the
f oundation is made at a slight angle of inclination (or sloping edges) so as to prevent water collecting at the base of the
structure. The base should be 10cm larger on each side compared to the dimensions of the base of the structure and at
least 10cm thick.
THE HUT MUST BE FIXE D TO THE GROUND! Otherwise it will be susceptible to strong wind damage. Once the hut has
been f ixed, we recommend applying silicone along the base of the structure to reduce the f ormation of damp patches and
excessive moisture inside. The f oundation can also be made of concrete blocks or bricks. The blocks and bricks should be
permanently cemented (or otherwise f ixed) into the ground and levelled.
