Intended Use
The product generates high-frequency sounds that are not audible to humans. The sounds are
disturbing and unpleasant to mice, rats, and similar rodents. Therefore, they will avoid the sur-
rounding area of the product. With the special wavelengths of the integrated light area (green
light) and the electromagnetic waves, disturbances in the central nervous system of for e.g.,
rats occur, which confuse them and create the flight behaviours.
The product is operated near the mains voltage (mains socket); it is only intended for operation
in dry, enclosed interior places, it must not get damp or wet.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Moreo-
ver, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

Explanation of Symbols
The lightning symbol inside a triangle is intended to alert you of health hazards, e. g.,
risk of electrical shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in this operating
manual which absolutely have to be observed.
The arrow symbol is used when specific tips and information on handling are pro-
vided.
The product is intended to be installed and used only in dry indoor rooms; it must not
get damp or wet.
The product is designed according to protection Class II (reinforced or double insu-
lation between the mains supply circuit and output voltage; protective insulation).

Safety Instructions

Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay particular attention to
the safety instructions. We do not assume liability for injuries/material damag-
es resulting from failure to observe the safety instructions and the information
in these operating instructions regarding the proper handling of the product.
Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/guarantee will be null and void.
a) General
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations,
high humidity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- has visible damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
• Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed,
struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• If you have doubts about how the product should be operated or how to safely
connect it, consult a qualified technician.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair work may be carried out only by an expert or
a specialist workshop.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Supply Voltage
• The design of the product complies with the safety class II. Only use a standard
mains socket, connected to the public power supply system (wall socket), to sup-
ply the power.
• The mains socket into which the product is plugged must be easily accessible.
• If the product is damaged, do not touch it; there is a danger to life from electric
shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the product is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse or switch
off at the corresponding RCD protective switch, so that the socket is fully discon-
nected).
Only then pull the product out of the mains socket and dispose of it in an environ-
mental friendly manner. Do not use it any more.
c) Operation
• The product is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. No part of the product
should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet! There is a risk
of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after moving it from a cold room into a warm
one. The condensation that forms might destroy the product. Furthermore, this
could cause a lethal electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it into use. In some cases, this may take several hours.

Operation

Operate the product such that animals inside the effective range of the sound signal
can escape.
The product must never be operated close to cages or kennels, or similar, with
animals inside.
• Plug the mouse repeller into a mains socket. It should be close to places where you have
problems with mice/rats.
Make sure that the area in front of the mouse repeller is free, and there is no objects
or furniture in front of the mouse repeller. Otherwise the ultrasound cannot optimally
spread out.
• 3 operating modes can be selected with the slide switch:
„OFF": The light function is deactivated
"ON": The light function is activated
„SENS": The light function is automatically activated by darkness
If the light function is activated (or in case of activation by darkness), the integrated
light area (4) lights up green. With the wavelengths used, it is very disturbing to rats
and mice, which can see well in the area.
• The continuously on LED (2) indicates if the function for electromagnetic waves.
• The ultrasound function is permanently activated as long as the mouse repeller is plugged in
a mains outlet. The flashing green LED (5) indicates the function.
Normally, the ultrasonic sound is not audible to the human ear. For rats/mice how-
ever, which hear at this frequency range, this audio signal is very disturbing.
• To avoid acclimatisation, you should occasionally operate the mouse repeller from another
mains outlet.
