CLEANING

Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric shock due to moisture!
• Remove the mains plug from the wall socket before taking the device
apart for cleaning.
• The motor unit, the power cable and the mains plug must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from cutting!
• When rinsing by hand, the water should be so clear that you can easily
see the blades of the blade insert.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
• Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.
Cleaning advice
• Rinse the mixing attachment immediately if possible ...
... after processing very salty foods and
... after use, so that the food residues do not become dry.
7.1

Rinsing out the assembled mixing attachment

1. Empty the mixing attachment and fill it with water.
2. Close the container with the lid.
3. Place the mixing attachment on the motor block. To do this, align the
marks on the container and motor block with one another
4. Turn the mixing attachment in a clockwise direction until it locks in
place .
5. Connect the mains plug with the wall socket.
6. Switch the device several times into pulsed operation.
7. Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
8. Release the mixing attachment by turning anticlockwise and lifting it off
the motor block.
9. Empty the mixing attachment and rinse it out. Any residues on the walls
of the container can be removed with a dishwashing brush.
NOTE: in most cases the mixing attachment is now already clean. In the
case of stubborn/dried-in contamination the mixing attachment has to be
taken apart for thorough cleaning/washing.
