Introduction
The HUD-2R-RMT is a body-worn social,
medical or hold-up alarm device. Each
HUD-2R-RMT has a unique electronic identity
and is assigned to a specific user.
The HUD-2R-RMT is compatible with
Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR) and Eaton/
Scantronic 868MHz (legacy mode) receivers.
The HUD-2R-RMT can operate in one of four
modes:
•
SSR – For use as a social, medical or
hold-up alarm device, as selected when the
device is learnt.
If the HUD-2R-RMT is used as a hold-up
alarm device and Confirmation Mode is
set to BS8243 in the Installer menu, the
device can generate both unconfirmed and
confirmed hold-up alarms.
•
Legacy 710 Hold-Up Alarm Mode – For use
as a hold-up alarm device with legacy-mode
receivers. (Emulates the legacy 710REUR.)
• Legacy HUD-2B-RMT Mode – For use
as a hold-up alarm device with legacy-

Installing the HUD-2R-RMT

Do not configure the HUD-2R-RMT if it is
already in use in the system and you only
need to replace the battery. Instead, please
refer to Replacing the battery .
