Inbetriebnahme als KNX RF+ Gerät – Commissioning as a KNX RF+ device

1. Die Abdeckrosette in Richtung Griff von der Grundplatte abziehen und anschließend um 90° verdrehen.
Ease the rosette off the base plate in the direction of the handle and then rotate it by 90°.
2. Batterien einlegen. Auf richtige Polarität achten.
Insert batteries. Ensure correct polarity.
3. Vor der Inbetriebnahme des KNX RF+ Geräts ist die Programmierung des KNX RF+ Linienkopplers erforderlich.
Before commissioning the KNX RF+ device, the KNX RF+ line coupler must be programmed.
4. Physikalische Adresse vergeben und Applikationsprogramm in der ETS erstellen.
Assign a physical address and create an application programme in the ETS.
5. Die physikalische Adresse sowie das Applikationsprogramm in das Gerät zu laden.
Den Programmiertaster betätigen sobald die entsprechende Aufforderung erfolgt.
Load the physical address and the application programme into the device.
Press the programming button when prompted.
6. Nach erfolgreicher Programmierung erlischt die rote Programmier-LED.
After successful programming the red programming LED turns off.
7. Die Abdeckrosette nach erfolgter Programmierung auf das Gehäuse schieben und einrasten lassen.
Reposition the rosette to aligne and cover the baseplate allowing it to snap into position.
Hinweis: Das Gerät kann sich im „Deep-Sleep-Modus" befinden. In diesem Modus ist der Empfang von Daten
nicht möglich. Um den zuverlässigen Empfang der Telegramme sicherzustellen, wird empfohlen, das Gerät vor der
Übertragung des Applikationsprogramms in den Programmiermodus zu versetzen.
Note: The device may be in 'deep sleep mode'. In this mode, data cannot be received. To ensure reliable telegram
transmission, it is recommended that the device be set to programming mode before the application programme is
transferred.
Rücksetzen in Werkseinstellung – Reset to factory settings
War das Gerät bereits in Verwendung oder ist die erste Inbetriebnahme fehlgeschlagen, so ist es nach folgendem
Schema auf Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen.
If the device was already in use or if the initial start-up failed, it must be reset to the factory settings according to the
following procedure.
1. Die Programmiertaste ist für mindestens 10 Sekunden gedrückt zu halten. Die Programmier-LED beginnt zu blinken.
Press and hold the programming button for at least 10 seconds. The programming LED flashes.
2. Die Taste nun kurz loslassen und erneut für mindestens 5 Sekunden drücken, bis die Programmier-LED schnell
blinkt. Nach dem Loslassen der Taste erlischt die LED.
Now briefly release the button and press it again for at least 5 seconds until the programming LED flashes rapidly.
The LED switches off when you release the button.
3. Das Gerät setzt sich zurück und führt einen Neustart durch.
The device resets and restarts.

Montage – Installation
1. Vorhandenen Griff demontieren:
• Den Griff in eine horizontale Stellung bringen („03:00 Uhr" oder „09:00 Uhr" Position).
• Den Fenstergriff gemäß den Herstellervorgaben demontieren.
2. Länge des Vierkantstiftes einstellen:
• Die Länge des Vierkantstifts am vorhandenen Fenstergriff ermitteln.
• Die Madenschraube am Griff des MDT RF+ Fenstergriffs lösen.
• Den Vierkantstift auf die gleiche Länge einstellen wie beim zuvor eingebauten Fenstergriff.
• Die Madenschraube am MDT RF+ Fenstergriff wieder festschrauben.
3. MDT RF+ Fenstergriff montieren:
• Den Griff des MDT RF+ Fenstergriffs in eine horizontale Stellung bringen („03:00 Uhr" oder „09:00 Uhr" Position).
• Die Abdeckrosette in Richtung Griff von der Grundplatte abziehen und anschließend um 90° verdrehen.
• Den Fenstergriff auf das Fensterprofil aufstecken und mit den passenden Schrauben befestigen.
- Bei einem Vierkantstift 32–37 mm: 50 / 40 mm (oben / unten) verwenden.
- Bei einem Vierkantstift 43 mm: 60 / 50 mm (oben / unten) verwenden.
Hinweis: Es empfiehlt sich, mit der Inbetriebnahme fortzufahren, bevor die Abdeckrosette wieder aufgesetzt wird.
1. Remove existing handle:
• Move the handle to a horizontal position (3 or 9 o'clock position).
• Remove the window handle according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Adjust the length of the square spindle:
• Measure the length of the square spindle on the existing window handle.
• Loosen the grub screw on the MDT RF+ window handle.
• Adjust the square spindle to the same length as the previously installed window handle.
• Tighten the grub screw on the MDT RF+ window handle again.
3. Install the MDT RF+ Window Handle:
• Move the handle of the MDT RF+ window handle to a horizontal position (3 or 9 o'clock).
• Ease the rosette off the base plate in the direction of the handle and then rotate it by 90°.
• Place the window handle on the window profile and fasten it with the appropriate screws.
- For a 32–37 mm square spindle: use 50/40 mm (top/bottom).
- For a 43 mm square spindle: use 60/50 mm (top/bottom).
Note: It is recommended to proceed with commissioning before replacing the rosette.
