The Plug Actuator SES FS-ZW is a switch or switch/
plug adapter that also measures the energy consump-
tion of the connected device. It can be operated either
via glen Dimplex central unit, via Z-Wave wireless tech-
nology or manually via button (3).
The plug actuator can be used to switch and measure
energy consumption and power input of electrical de-
vices.
Z-Wave wireless technology allows wireless communi-
cation with a higher-level Z-wave- capable control unit
(central unit, switch or similar), thereby enabling nu-
merous intelligent functions in the areas of energy
management, comfort and security.
3. Inclusion of the plug actuator
For wireless operation, the plug actuator and the cen-
tral unit need to be linked to each other. This process is
called "inclusion".
The inclusion process is controlled by the central unit –
refer to the documentation for the central unit.
Plug the plug actuator into a fixed mains outlet with
grounding contacts (CEE 7/4).
Start "Inclusion" mode on the chosen central unit.
Press the button on the plug actuator 3 times within
a period of around 2 seconds.
The Status LED lights up white.
During the next 5 seconds, the wireless connection is
established and the inclusion process for linking the
plug actuator to the central unit is performed.
Once the inclusion process has been successfully
completed, the Status LED flashes white and goes
back to showing the previous switch state.
