The DALI-2 Repeater LI was developed exclusively for installation in luminaires. Stand-alone installation (e.g. ceiling installation) is possible using
the ECO CI KIT (EAN: 4008321392091).
The DALI interfaces IN and OUT are isolated from the mains connection. Connecting the DALI OUT interface to an external voltage, especially
the mains voltage, will severely damage the device! The DALI-2 Repeater LI is not cascadable. The device can be operated in four different
operating modes, set by the DIP switch. Additional settings can be made with the T4T software via the DALI IN interface in GROUP mode. The
DALI IN interface is DALI certified in BASIC mode.
Start-up:
1. Set the operating mode using the DIP switch.
2. Connect the components.

Please note: Changing the operating mode will immediately impact the DALI output. Example: existing configuration in EXTEND mode is over-
written in GROUP mode.

GROUP mode:
A maximum of 64 DALI-2 ECGs (DT6 or DT8 TW) can be controlled collectively by a higher-level control unit for each DALI-2 Repeater LI. This
significantly reduces the number of subscriber addresses at the higher-level control unit. In addition, up to five DALI-2 sensors (light and presence
sensors) can be connected. These are displayed as a light sensor and a presence sensor at the control input.
Construction site function for checking the wiring:
Short press (<0.5s) the service button to activate service mode (yellow LED) for 5s. Each additional short press switches the connected ECGs
on/off at the output. The connected DALI devices are scanned each time the system is started (mains voltage is applied).
If additional devices are connected at the DALI output, the device must be restarted in order to perform a new scan.
Activate scan manually:
1. Short press (<0.5s) the service button to activate service mode (yellow LED) for 5s.
2. Long press (>3s) with service mode activated (yellow LED) to start a new scan (yellow/green LED flashes).
Reset to factory settings:
1. Short press (<0.5s) the service button to activate service mode (yellow LED) for 5s.
2. Ultra-long press (>10s) with service mode activated (yellow LED) to reset the device to factory settings (LED flashes red/yellow).

TOUCH DIM mode:
Up to 64 DALI ECGs can be switched and dimmed collectively via a standard pushbutton in TOUCH DIM mode. Option-
ally, the color temperature of DALI DT8 TW devices can be controlled with a pushbutton and upstream diode.

Function:
Short press T1: Switch on/off.
Long press T1: Dim up/down.
Double press T1 when switched on: Save the current brightness as the switch-on brightness.
Double press T1 when switched off: Delete the saved switch-on brightness value.
Long press T2: Change color temperature (warmer/cooler)
