11. Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do
not insert any objects into the interior of the housing.
12. Always place the device on a dry, flat surface.
13. The device must be connected to an earthed socket.
Before connecting to the mains supply, check whether
the type of current and the mains voltage match the
information on the rating plate.
14. Additional protection is afforded by the installation in your
home of a residual current device with a nominal release
current of no more than 30 mA. Seek advice from your
electrician about this device and installation.
15. Always pull the mains plug out of the socket by the plug,
not by the cable.
16. Do not use the device near heat sources such as fire,
hotplates, radiators, etc.
17. Regularly check the mains cable and the mains plug for
possible damage. If the mains cable of this device has
been damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its customer service department, or a similarly qualified
person, in order to avoid hazards.
18. Do not let the mains cable hang over sharp corners,
and keep it away from hot objects, open flames, and hot
surfaces of the device.
19. Switch off the device before pulling out the mains plug.
20. Position the cable, as well as any required extension
cable, in such a way that unintentional pulling on or
tripping over the cable is not possible.
21. If you are using an extension cable, then it must be suitable
for the applicable power requirements, since overheating of
the cable and/or the plug may otherwise occur.
