MOUNTING:
1) Screw the tripod (I) onto the spotting scope,
2) Lifting the ring around the black central column (2); near the
three legs, allows fluid movement in regulating the height of the tri-
pod.
3) To make an approximate sighting of the instrument; adjust the
micrometric screw (3) that regulates the sight and free the lateral
ring (4) that allows the telescope to rotate on its central axis.
4) To focus, rotate the metal ring (5) until you have obtained the
clearest image possible..
5) ZOOM: rotate the metal ring (6) in order to vary the magnifica-
tion from 15x to 45x. Increased magnification
of the focus.
6) Choice of magnification; with an increased magnification there
is a decrease in luminosity and a reduction of the magnified area.
Always begin observation at a low magnification and increasestea-
dily until the best magnification, compatible with the observed
subject and its enviroment is achieved

ADVICE
FOR PHOTOGRAPHY:
•Never
aim the instrument at the sun. Never look through the
instrument
at the sun.•
With some
lengthof exposureis requiredbefore it is possibleto take a photo-
graph.On zoom models,rememberthat a largerdegreeof magni-
fication results in a greater degree of luminosity and therefore
requires a longer exposure time.
MAINTENANCE:
• Storeyour equipmentin a safe,dry place,ensuringthat it is cove-
redand protectedfrom dust. • Avoid touching the lenseswith dirty
fingersasthe salt and moisturecontained in the skin could dama-
ge the lenses.• Do not clean the optic parts if it is not absolutely
necessaryto do so, as they might suffer damage.• For cleaning of
the lenses, we recommend a soft clothan
ned dirt, use a soft cloth, without any artificial fibres, soaked with
alcohol
or ether.
