INSTRUCTIONS
Setting/resetting the code
The default code is "000". To change the code, proceed as follows:
1. Enter the default code, "000".
2. Press the unlock button to release the metal clasp.
3. Use a thin, pointed tool (e.g. a pen) to press the reset button.
4. Rotate the digit dials to set a new code.
5. Press the unlock button again and the new code is set.
We recommend memorizing the new code.
Follow the same procedure to change the code again.
Charging the lock
The lock comes partially charged, but we still recommend that you fully charge it.
Plug the end of the USB-C cable (not included) into the charging port and connect to a com-
patible charger or other power source. When connected, the power button lights up red.
When fully charged, the button lights up green.
Note: It is recommended to charge the lock before the winter season. If the state of charge is
below 30%, the lock could stop working early due to freezing.
Adding to the list of devices
Note: We recommend using an iOS device with Apple-ID.
Before pairing and adding to the list of devices, make sure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is turned on.
1. Open the "|Apple Find" app.
2. Click "Objects", then click the "+" icon and select "Add another object".
3. A screen will appear with a search for available devices.
4. Select "Hero Tag" from the list of searched devices.
5. Click next step and follow the in-app instructions when the device is added to the list.
