2.4G Adapter
• Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller.
• Hold the Xbox button for 6 seconds to turn off the controller.
• Hold the Xbox button for 12 seconds to force the controller Off.
Xbox Series/One console
• The latest system version of the Xbox console is required.
Wired Connection
1. Turn the mode switch to Xbox/ USB position.
2. Connect the controller to your Xbox console via a USB cable.
3. press the Xbox button to turn on the controller and wait till the controller is successfully recognized
bythe console. The LED indicator will stay solid when the connection is successful.
Windows 10/11
• Windows 100903) or above is required.
Wireless Connection
1. Connect the 2.4G adapter to your Windows device.
2. Turn the mode switch to PC/2.4G position.
3. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller and wait till the controller is successfully recognized
by the device. Both LED indicators on the controller and the adapter will stay solid when the connection
is successful.
Wired Connection
1. Turn the mode switch to Xbox/USB position.
2. Connect the controller to your Windows device via a USBcable.
3. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller and wait till the controller is successfully recognized
by the console. The LED indicator will stay solid when the connection is successful.
Android
• Android 9.0 or above is required.
Bluetooth Connection
1. Turn the mode switch to Mobile/Bluetooth position.
2. press the Xbox button to turn on the controller.
3. Holdthe Pairingbutton for 3 secondsto enterthe pairingmode,the LED indicator will blink rapidly.(This
is required for the very first time only.)
4. Goto your Android device's Bluetooth list and pair with [8BitDo Ultimate 3mode Xbox], the LED indicator
will stay solid when the connection is successful.
Volume Control
• pressand holdthe following button combosto adjust the balancebetweenvoice andgamevolume.
• Beeps when adjusted to maximum/minimum, vibration when adjusted to middle value.
• 3.5mm earphones are not supported when connected via Bluetooth.
Press and hold the Profile button + D-pad up/down to turn up/down in-game volume.
Press and hold the Profile button + D-pad left/rightto adjust the balance between voice and game volume.

Fast Button Swap
• The Fast Button Swap feature is temporary and will revertto default settings upon reconnection. For
permanent button configuration, please use Ultimate Software X.
• The Profile LED indicator will blink continuously when the swapped button is pressed.
• D-pad, View, Menu, Share, Xbox, IT, and RTbuttons are not supported for the button swap.
• press and hold any of the two buttons, then press the Star button to activate the Fast Button Swap. Repeat
the same procedure or reconnect the controller will deactivate the function.
PI/P2 Button Configuration
• Only one button on the controller can be remapped to the P1/P2 button; remapping multiple buttons are
not supported.
• D-pad, View, Menu, Share, Xbox, LT,and RTbuttons are not supported for configuration.
• press and hold [P1/P2 button + the button you wish to configure]. then press the Star button to complete
the configuration.Tocancel,pressand hold [P1/P2button + Starbutton).
Battery
• Built-in 1000mAh rechargeable lithium batterywith 20 hours of playtime over 2.46 connection and 25 hours
over Bluetoothconnection,with a chargingtime of 4 hours.

• The controller will automatically shut down if it fails to connect within 1 minute of startup, or ifthere are no
operations within 15 minutes after establishing a connection.
• Thecontrollerwill not shut down during wired connection.
Ultimate Software X
• Press the Profile button to activate, switch Or deactivate the customized profiles. There is no profile in
the default setting.

Re-pairthe Controller and Adapter
Ifthe connection is lost orthe adapter needs to be re-paired, you can follow the steps belowto re-pairthe
controller with the adapter:
1.Turn the mode switch to PC/2.4G position.
2. Connect the 2.4G adapter to your Windows device.
3. Press the Xbox button to turn on the controller.
4. Hold the Pairing button for 3 seconds to enter the pairing mode, the LED indicator will blink rapidly.
5. Both LED indicators on the controller and receiver will become solid when the connection is successful.
