OPERATOR'S MANUAL OF 76MM WIDE SDS PLUS CRANKED ANGLED BENT TILE REMOVAL CHISEL
INTEND USE
The Angled Bent SDS Plus Tile Removal Chisel Tool is suitable for a
large-area tile, laminate flooring, wall moldings and other composite
material removal. This tile chisel can be used for concrete applications.
The ergonomic design of the shank with curved angle allows and ensures
an efficient removal for flush surface material.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
1. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Before starting any operation, make sure to wear the appropriate
personal protective equipment. This includes safety glasses, a dust mask,
ear-muff, and gloves. These will provide protection against flying debris,
dust inhalation, excessive noise, and potential injuries.
2. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving parts
3. Inspect the chisel:
Before using the SDS chisel, examine the chisel for any signs of wear or
damage. Using a compromised chisel can be dangerous, so it is best to
replace or repair them before use.
4. Keep chisel out of reach of children.
5. Make sure the chisel bit is securely attached to the drill machine before
beginning working.
6. Do not touch the chisel or the workpiece until the chisel has come to a
complete stop.
7. Apply gentle pressure and start chisel at a low speed to prevent the
chisel from wandering.
8. Take care not to apply excessive force or push too hard, as this can

9. Be Mindful of Electrocution Risks:
When working on walls or hard substrates, there is a risk of coming into
contact with live electrical wires. Before chiseling, ensure you know the
location of any electrical wires or cables behind the wall. Use a cable or
pipe detector to identify potential hazards and avoid working in those
areas.

10. Always unplug the drill machine before changing or adjusting the
chisel.

when very high heat is created in the chisel during working.

HOW TO USE
To use a chisel bit, follow these simple steps:
1. Use a power hammer drill driver that allows for adjustable speed
settings, release the drill bit clamp mechanism and attach the needed
masonry chisel bit securely to the drill chuck, ensuring it is centered and
tightened.
2. Choose the hammer mode operation and appropriate speed.
3. Adjust the chisel working angle, then place the chisel bit on the working
surface.
4.Now to start chipping, switch on the power button and let the chisel bit
do the rest. While chipping, ensure that the rotary hammer drill is held
firmly by using both hands and maintaining a balanced stance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. After use, wipe the chisel bit clean with a brush or soft cloth and
lubricate it with a light oil.
2. Store the chisel bit in a dry, clean place, away from moisture and dust.
3. Check the chisel bit for signs of wear or damage regularly. Replace any
bits that are worn, dull, or damaged.
4. Always handle the chisel bit with care and avoid dropping or throwing it.
