• As soon as you set the temperature adjuster to the minimum temperature, the red indicator lamp
comes on.
• The indicator lamp remains on until the device has reached the desired temperature. Once the
temperature has been achieved, the indicator lamp goes out. During operation, the indicator lamp
subsequently only goes on when the device has to heat up again in order to reach the desired
temperature.
Use without food containers
• Place dishes, plates or bowls containing food onto the hot plate. Never carry the device when
food is present on the device!
• Switch off the device after use by turning the temperature adjuster to the OFF setting and unplug
the device from the mains.
• Allow the device to cool down before lifting off dishes, plates or bowls from the hot plate. When
doing so, always use oven gloves. Risk of burns!
• When carrying the device, always only use the plastic handles to do so. Risk of burns!
Use with food containers
• Place the frame on the hot plate. Be careful to ensure that the edges of the frame are on the hot
plate and that the frame will remain in place.
• Now place the food container within the frame. The outer rim of the food container is now above
the frame. Be careful to ensure that the edges of the food containers are aligned above and below
each other and not out of sync.
• Place the prepared foodstuff into the food containers and place the plastic lid on the food
container.
• Switch off the device after use by turning the temperature adjuster to the OFF setting and unplug
the device from the mains.
• Allow the device to cool down before lifting or carrying it. When doing so, always use oven
gloves. Risk of burns!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution:
Always first switch off and unplug the device from the mains when cleaning, and ensure it is allowed
to thoroughly cool down.
• Do not allow any dirt or stains to become dried in. Always clean the device and accessories as
soon as possible after use.
• The accessories can be washed up as normal. When doing so, ensure they are thoroughly dried
before being replaced back in the device.
• The external surfaces of the device can be cleaned using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
When doing so, be careful to ensure that no moisture is allowed to infiltrate inside the device
during this process (e.g. at the temperature adjuster). Subsequently, use a soft cloth to wipe the
surfaces dry.
• When cleaning the device, do not use any harsh cleaning materials, alcohol, sandpaper, scouring
pad, wire brush or similar hard objects, which could damage the outer surfaces.
• Never immerse the device in water or wash directly with water.
• The power cord and plug should always only be dusted off with a dry cloth.
