THE EXCHANGE
POWER Please use a 9V DC Centre pin negative PSU (not included)
The pedal is provided with the following inputs and outputs:
INPUT 1 is the main master input
INPUT 2 is a secondary input
OUTPUT 1 is the master output for connection to the following
equipment (ie. an amplifier)
OUTPUT 2 is a secondary output, this is isolated for connection to a
second amplifier, or by depressing the "Bal/Norm switch can be turned
into an isolated Balanced TRS output for connection to a desk or
recording software etc.
On the rear panel is a FUNCTION switch, which the switch OUT the
footswitch toggles BETWEEN inputs 1 and 2. With the switch engaged
the footswitch turns BOTH 1 and 2 on/off.
THE FRONT PANEL
The front panel features 2 level adjusters and 2 level meters, each meter
indicates the relative level of the respective channel.
Each channel should be adjusted so that under normal usage the meter
indicates an average level of -4db. When set like this the output signal will
be the same magnitude as the input signal

There are also 2 extra switches, the first is the "SELECT MODE"
This controls the routing of the signals from the two input channels 1 and
2. In Position 1+2 the two inputs are routed to BOTH outputs and in 1 or
2 position.
Channel 1 is routed to Output 1 and Channel 2 is routed to output 2
Using the Bass Exchange pedal.

The second output can be used to drive a second amplifier or used as
a DI.
Connect instruments to Inputs 1 and 2
Function switch OUT
Select Mode IN (1+2)
Amplifier connected to Output 1.
Using the footswitch select the instrument to be played, the
respective
metre will illuminate adjust the level.
Select the other channel and adjust for a similar level.
Now you are ready to go simply press the footswitch to effect the
instrument change.
