In this mode the amplifier is turned off and the Bluetooth connection is dropped. The E50 is still in Bluetooth pairing mode and will wake instantly when the standby key is pressed or when paired.

Turning anti-clockwise will reduce the maximum volume level and turning clockwise will increase it. The maximum output level of the speakers will be altered accordingly but the range of volume indication on the front of the unit will not be affected.
