CONSEILS D'UTILISATION
Ces fers à souder ne sont conçus que pour une utilisation avec
une tension secteur de 230 V - 50Hz. A n d' é viter tout incendie
ou autres dégâts causés par le fer chaud, utiliser uniquement un
support résistant a la chaleur.
Ne tenir le fer chau é que par la poignée. Ne pas toucher la
panne ou la partie métallique, risque de brûlure !
Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé
par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou des personnes de
quali cation similaire a n d' é viter un danger. Ne le plonger, en
aucun cas, dans de l' e au, vous pourriez vous électrocuter. Pour
changer la panne, débrancher le fer et le laisser refroidir. Enfoncer
la nouvelle panne jusqu'à la butée. Fixer bien la vis.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés d'au moins
8 ans et par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou dénuées d' e xpérience ou
de connaissance, s'ils (si elles) sont correctement surveillé(e)s ou
si des instructions relatives à l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute
sécurité leur ont été données et si les risques encourus ont été
appréhendés. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l'appareil.
Le nettoyage et l' e ntretien par l'usager ne doivent pas être
e ectués par des enfants sans surveillance.
MODE D'EMPLOI
Avant d' e ectuer tout travail de soudure :
• Nettoyer les pièces à souder.
• Véri er que le vis soient bien xées.
• Mettre le fer à chau er : 1 min 30 pour les fers Tempo, 10 min
pour les fers HRT.
• Ne pas faire chau er le fer sans sa panne, sinon, vous réduisez
la durée de vie de l' é lément chau ant.
• Etamer la panne. Pour ce faire, faire fondre de l' é tain sur la
panne. Puis essuyer le surplus.
Chau er les pièces à souder (non la soudure) en mettant en
contact les ls à souder avec la panne et ajouter un peu d' é tain
sur les ls. Ne pas utiliser trop de soudure. Laisser refroidir la
soudure. L' o util doit être placé sur son support lorsqu'il n' e st pas
utilisé.
Pour les fers HRT : ne pas poser la panne directement sur le
repose-fer ou sur le plan de travail.
Éviter le blocage de la panne en la démontant régulièrement.
ATTENTION ! Lors du remontage, assurez-vous de bien placer la
résistance à l'intérieur de la panne.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
These soldering irons are only designed for use with a power
supply of 230 V - 50Hz. To avoid any risk of re or other damage
caused by the hot iron, only use a heat-resistant holder.
Only hold the hot iron by the handle. Do not hold the tip or the
metal part, this can cause burns!
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly quali ed persons in order
to avoid a hazard. Never, under any circumstances, immerse in
water, you may be electrocuted. To replace the tip, unplug the
iron and leave to cool down. Fix the new tip, pressing down to
the end stop. Tighten the screw fully.
This unit can be used by aged 8 years old and people with
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or devoid of experience
or knowledge, if properly monitored or instructions for using
the machine safely given to them and if the risks were appre-
hended.
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance should not be performed by children unattended.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before carrying out any soldering work:
• Clean the parts to be soldered.
• Check that the screws are properly tightened.
• Begin heating the soldering iron: 1½ min for Tempo soldering
irons; 10 min for HRT soldering irons.
• Do not heat the soldering iron without its tip, as doing so will
reduce the lifespan of the heating element.
• Tin the tip. To do so, melt some tin on the tip. Next, wipe o
any excess tin.
Heat the parts to be soldered (not the solder): place the tip in
contact with the electrical wires to be soldered and add a little
bit of tin on the wires. Do not use too much solder. Leave the
solder to cool down. The tool must be placed in its holder when
it is not being used.
For HRT soldering irons: do not place the tip directly on the stand
or on the work surface.
Avoid blockage in the tip by regularly taking it apart.
CAUTION! When reassembling, make sure that you place the
heating element inside the tip.
