PRODUCT SAFETY (SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS)
• Tripping hazard: When folding out the doors, especially
in confined spaces or in the dark, ensure that they do
not become a source of tripping hazards.
• Choking hazard due to packaging material and
swallowing small parts.
 Keep the packaging and small parts (film, plastic
bags, polystyrene, etc.) required for repackaging
away from moisture and only in places that are not
accessible to children, especially infants!
 Dispose of packaging material in the household
waste in accordance with regulations!
CAUTION
• Risk of cuts and crushing: There is a risk of cuts to the
hands and arms when assembling the product.
 Wear commercially available protective gloves
when unpacking, assembling and transporting the
product.
 Transport and assemble the product with at least
one other person and only when it is unloaded.
• Risk of injury and damage to property due to heavy
lifting, incorrect transport or improper use:
 To place the product in a suitable location, lift and
transport the product with at least one other
person, preferably three, and only when unloaded.
 Do not push the product over the ground.
 The shelf may only be loaded and unloaded by
hand.
 The product may only be used for its intended
purpose (no industrial storage of chemicals or toxic
and hazardous substances)!
ATTENTION
• Material damage due to incorrect use or maintenance:
 Before use, make sure that the product is not
damaged. Never operate a defective or non-
functional appliance! Contact the manufacturer or
have the appliance checked by a qualified
mechanic.
 Do not place the shelf near sources of heat or
ignition.
 Never use excessive force!
• Material damage due to incorrect installation location:
 Select a suitable and dry installation location that is
not exposed to permanent sunlight or strong
temperature fluctuations.
• Damage to the product due to incorrect cleaning:
 Remove soiling with warm water, a mild, non-
flammable cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.
The surface coating of the product should not be
cleaned with a harsh or abrasive cleaning agent or
with hard brushes.
 Test the compatibility of the cleaning agent with
the surface on an inconspicuous area of the
product.
• Material damage due to lack of maintenance or
improper repair:
 Check the attachment parts and screws regularly
for tightness and tighten the screws if necessary.
 Have defective or damaged parts replaced
immediately by trained specialist personnel and in
consultation with the manufacturer.
 Check the overall condition of the product and
whether the shelves are in perfect condition at
regular intervals. The product may only be used if it
is in perfect condition.
 Only have repairs carried out by the manufacturer
or by specialised personnel who have been trained
by the manufacturer.
 Only use spare parts approved by the
manufacturer.
1.7. Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to the regional recycling centre.
If you need to dispose of this appliance, please contact the
manufacturer, your local dealer or a local recycling centre.
Never dispose of the appliance with normal household waste!
By doing so, you are making an important contribution to
protecting the environment.
