PRODUCT SAFETY (SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS)

1. For your safety

• Read this document carefully and completely.
• Follow the instructions and safety notes in this document
and on the product.
• Use the product only when it is in technically sound
condition and with an awareness of safety and potential
hazards.
• Keep this document for reference and for passing on to
others, and make it available near the product.

1.1. Use as intended

• Use the product exclusively as a shelf for storing items indoors.
• Only use the product in its original condition, with the
original parts provided and/or replacement parts approved
by the manufacturer.
• Any use deviating from this intended purpose is considered
improper use and may result in serious personal injury and
property damage.
• We assume no liability for damages to persons or property
resulting from failure to follow the safety instructions in
this manual and on the product.
1.2. Do not use improperly
• The product is not a toy.
• Do not load the product beyond the maximum allowable
total load limit or the individual load limit per level.
• Do not alter or modify the product.
• Do not use the product with damaged parts or in an
incomplete condition.

1.3. Target Group

• The users are exclusively adults who have read and
understood this user manual and the labels on the product
or have received similar instructions regarding usage and
safety guidelines. Only these individuals are allowed to use
the product.
• Persons with physical or mental impairments may only use
the product under the supervision of an adult user.
• Assembly, maintenance, and cleaning work must not be
carried out by children. Skilled personnel are individuals
with mechanical training, such as trained craftsmen,
metalworkers, etc.

not followed, could result in death or serious
injury.

Warning of hazards that, if the precautions are
CAUTION
not followed, could lead to injuries.

not followed, could lead to property damage.

Symbol Designation
This symbol indicates that the user should have read and
understood the user manual completely before using the
product.
This symbol indicates that the use of electric screwdrivers is
prohibited.

The international recycling symbol indicates recyclable
material.
1.6. Sicherheitshinweise
DANGER
• Risk of accident due to tipping or falling over:
Heavily loaded cabinets can tip over if handled
incorrectly or if the weight distribution is unfavourable.
This can lead to immediate danger as people, especially
small children, can become trapped and sustain serious
injuries and cause damage to property.
 Do not allow children to play unsupervised near
the product or climb on it.
 Place the cabinet on a stable and level surface and
secure it to the wall if necessary.
WARNING
• Risk of accident due to falling objects or the shelf
toppling over and collapsing:
 Falling objects can cause serious injuries, especially
to the head.
 Distribute the load evenly over the storage area.
 The shelf is not suitable for point impact loads or
dynamic loads, such as heavy objects with a small
footprint or objects that are stored suspended.
 Maximum load capacity: 60Kg
 Never exceed the total maximum permissible load
weight of the product.
 Store heavy objects on the lowest level.
 Secure all objects that do not have a firm stand
against rolling away.
 Never use the cabinet as a climbing aid and never
climb onto the product!
• Risk of crushing and trapping: When closing the doors,
make sure that no fingers or other body parts are
trapped. This can lead to serious injuries, especially for
children.
