6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a

replacement parts. This will ensure that the

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Fire hazard.

Do not operate fan or charger near
flammable liquids or in gaseous or
explosive atmospheres. Internal sparks
may ignite fumes causing personal injury.

Do not wash fan with water or allow water
to get inside the fan. Do not submerge fan
in water at anytime.
• While fan is in use, do not cover with
cloth or other flammable materials due to
increased risk of fire.
• The fan is intended for commercial and
household use.
• Store the fan indoors when not in use.
•
Make sure extension cord is located so that
it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or
otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
• Use only a proper extension cord that is
necessary to operate the fan on AC power.
Use of an improper extension cord could
result in risk of fire, electric shock, or
electrocution.
•
Disconnect the fan from the outlet before
attempting any cleaning. This will reduce
the risk of electric shock. Removing the
battery pack will not reduce this risk.
WARNING: Do not use the fan with any
solid-state speed control device.
CAUTION: When not in use, place fan on its back
on a stable surface where it will not cause a
tripping or falling hazard. Some tools with large
battery packs will stand upright on the battery
pack but may be easily knocked over.
WARNING: Use of this tool can generate and/
or disperse dust, which may cause serious and
permanent respiratory or other injury.
Air vents often cover moving parts and should be
avoided. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can
be caught in moving parts.

If you intend to store a battery for a period
without use then store battery at room
temperature (0°C to 20°C) When storing for very
long periods boost charge the battery once per
year to prevent over discharge. The Ambient
temperature range for tool and battery use: 0°C
to 40°C. The charging temperature: 5°C to 40°C.

Rechargeable batteries are to be removed
from the appliance before being charged.
•
Exhausted batteries are to be removed
from the appliance and safely disposed of.
•
If the appliance is to be stored and unused
for a long period, the battery should be
removed.
•
The supply terminals are not to be
short-circuited.
