2.5. Troubleshooting

The appliance may only be repaired by qualified specialists.
The device has no function
after switching on
No air leakage
Air does not get warm
NOTE: If the faults cannot be rectified, the appliance must be serviced!
2.5.1 Check heating element
• Allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature.
• Remove the contacts on the heating element
• Measure the resistance of the heating element. Set value: 100-110 Ohm
• If there is a deviation, replace the heating element.
• Observe the instructions enclosed with the heating element!
2.5.2 Check thermocouple
Check the type-K thermocouple for electrical continuity. If you cannot detect
any continuity, the thermocouple must be replaced.
2.5.3 Maintenance
Flux residues at the hot air outlet should be removed regularly.
Check Replace the fuse if it is defective.
