HOW TO USE YOUR HOT PLATE
Before using your hot plate for the first time, turn it to the highest setting (position 5) for 3
to 5 minutes to protect the coating. This should be done with no cooking utensils on the hot
plates.

4. Turn the control dial to the desired setting. The unit will cycle on and off to maintain the
selected temperature.
5. The indicator light on the front of the appliance will turn off once the hot plate reaches
the selected temperature, and the heating process will stop and recycle to maintain the
temperature level.
6. The heating element will begin to heat immediately. Do not touch the metal surfaces
while in use, as these will become hot.
7. Once you have finished using the appliance, unplug from the wall socket and allow to cool
completely.
