The PROTOS® P1 ear protectors have been tested
and are certified under the European EN 352-3:2020
and ANSI S3.19-1974 norms.
Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep all operating and
maintenance manuals. To guarantee the best-possible protection, comfort
and functionality of the PROTOS® ear protectors, it is vital to take notice of
the following information!

1. Application
PROTOS® ear protectors may only be attached to and worn with the following protective
helmets:
• PROTOS® Industry, Item 202000 / 402000
• PROTOS® Climber, Item 203000 / 403000
• PROTOS® Forest, Item 204000 / 204002 / 404000 / 404002
• PROTOS® Arborist, Item 205000 / 205002 / 405000 / 405002
2. Materials
The ear cups are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and are recyclable.
The sealing cushions are made of PU-foam, the retaining bracket of PA-GF and the
absorptive lining of PU-foam.

3. Installation
It is very easy to install the
PROTOS® ear protectors.
To do so, proceed as follows:
Take the hearing protector incl.
retaining bracket and slide it
into the corresponding clasp.
Please note!
The arrows on the ear cups
must point to the front of the
helmet!
To adjust for optimal height, push the ear cups
up or down until they fit comfortably over your ears.
To move the hearing protector from the
active position to the park position, pull it outwards
and then push it backwards.
The pressure, with which the ear cups fit over
your ears, can be adjusted. To do so, remove the ear
protectors. Press on the red "Press"- tab to pull
the ear protectors from the shell of the helmet.
Now turn the pressure
regulator with a 1- or 2-cent coin to
increase (+) or decrease (-) the pressure.
