Proper use
The device is used for switching and / or
distribution of electric energy. It is intended
exclusively for private use and may not be
used for commercial
purposes.
The built-in surge protector protects your
equipment from network-induced over
voltages caused by switching operations or
distant lightning.
In case of direct lightning strike reliable
protection for the connected devices cannot
be guaranteed one hundred percent due to
the extremely high energy
that can occur. You can only get maximum
possible surge protection with a multi-tiered
surge protection concept consisting of
general/medium protection
(installation of this technology to be carried
out by a specialist), together with fine protec-
tion provided by our power strip according to
EN61643-11 Type 3.
We guarantee the overvoltage protection
properties up to the amounts shown on the
nameplate of the product specifications.
Connected devices that have
been proven to be damaged by an overvol-
tage will be replaced by us in the context of
product liability. Provided, however, that the
damage is due to the
fact that the protective function described
has not been met, in accordance with the
technical features.
