Usage safety
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in serious injury or even death.
The terms "device" or "product" are used in the warnings and instructions to refer to
COFFEE KETTLE.
• Never use a damaged product.
• If you have any doubts as to whether the product is working properly or if it is
damaged, contact the manufacturer's service department.
• Only the manufacturer's service department may repair the product. Do not
carry out repairs yourself!
• Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by qualified personnel using only
original spare parts. This will ensure the safety of use.
• Keep these operating instructions for future reference. If the device is to be
passed on to a third party, the operating instructions must also be handed over
together with the device.
• Keep packaging parts and small assembly parts in a place out of reach of
children.
• Before use, remove all elements that protect against damage during transport.
• Before the first use, wash the product with warm water and a mild food contact
surface cleaner, then dry.
• Use a soft cloth or sponge for cleaning.
• Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the
appliance is made.
• Clean the product on a regular basis to avoid permanent deposits.
• Placing the product centrally on the heat source is recommended. Select the size
of the heat source according to the size of the base of the product (especially
important with gas stoves - the flame must not extend beyond the perimeter of
the base).
• Do not leave the product on the hob or burner.
• Do not heat an empty product.
• Carry the product by holding the handle securely.
• Check regularly that the screws of the handles are properly tightened. Tighten
the screws if necessary.
• CAUTION! Some parts of the product may become very hot during use - there is
a danger of scalding! Do not touch these parts with bare hands! Carry the product
only by its handle.
• When using the product, hot steam accumulates inside the product. Be careful in
the vicinity of the product and when opening the cover. There is a high risk of
scalding.
