– Without loading toast, plug the power cord into an elec-
trical outlet. You will hear a beep and the «–» symbol
will start flashing on the display (11). Press the on / off
button « » (15). The indication panel (11) will show the
symbol «4». Use the control panel button «
set the indicator (9) to «7» and turn the unit on by push-
ing the lever (6) downwards.
– During the first switching on the heating elements burn,
therefore occurrence of a small amount of smoke or
foreign smell is possible. It is normal.
– If necessary, switch the toaster on for several times.
TIPS
– The toasting level depends on the thickness of the
bread slice, bread sort and quality. Never toast too thin
or too thick slices, the thickness of the toast should not
exceed 20 mm.
– Never attempt to remove bread stuck in the toasting
slots without unplugging the toaster from the electri-
cal outlet. When removing the bread, be careful not to
damage the internal mechanism and heating elements.
– If the toasts are stuck, press the button (17) «
unplug the power cord from the electrical socket and
let the toaster cool down. Use a suitable wooden or
plastic spatula to remove the toasts. Do not touch the
heating elements to avoid damaging them.
Attention! If the toast consists of small slices of bread
less than 85 mm long, be aware of the potential risk of
burns when removing them.
MAKING TOASTS
– Place one or two slices of bread in the toasting slots (2).
– Insert the power cord plug into the mains socket.
– You will hear a beep and the «–» symbol will start flash-
ing on the display (11).
– Press the on / off button « » (15).
– The indication panel (11) will show the symbol «4».
– Turn the unit on by moving the carriage control lever
(6) along the rail (7) downwards until it locks into place.
– Use the control panel buttons «
to set the preferred toasting degree. There are a total of
7 toasting degrees available (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) where:
«1» – minimal toasting level;
«7» – maximal toasting level.
