Adjusting the LCD display backlight contrast

➝ Hold the menu button (10) for a few seconds.
➝ Navigate to "Settings" by using the Next/Last buttons (6/8).
➝ Confirm the selection "Settings" with the Menu button (10).
➝ Navigate to "Contrast" by using the Next/Last buttons (6/8).
➝ Confirm the selection "Contrast" with the Menu button (10).
➝ Change the contrast of the backlight by using the Next/Last
buttons (6/8).
➝ Confirm your input with the Menu button (10).
➝ Press the Menu button (10) to get back to the settings.

Sleep Function

The device has a Sleep function with which it will automati-
cally switch off after a pre-adjusted time.
➝ Press the Sleep Button (12).
➝ Select the required time by using the Next/Last buttons (6/8).
➝ Confirm the selection by pressing the Menu button (10).
➝ The device will switch into the standby mode after the pre-
adjusted time has passed.

Listening to music

Listening to the radio

➝ Carefully pull out the antenna (1).
➝ Push the switch to position 4 to listen to the radio.
➝ The automatic seek function is started by pressing the Next/
Last buttons (6/8). To seek a special frequency the buttons
need to be held longer. The direct input of the frequency can
be done by using the numerical buttons and confirming with
the Menu button (10).
➝ Pressing Play/Pause (7) will mute the volume.
