Insert the battery pack into the battery charger, and then
connect the battery charger to the USB Type-C® terminal
of a USB PD (USB Power Delivery) power supply using a
commercially available USB Type-C cable (USB-C® – USB-C).
• Place the battery pack on the battery charger in the direction
of . Slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow as far
as it will go.
• Use a USB PD power supply with an output of 30 W (15 V /
2 A) or more and a USB Type-C cable (USB-C – USB-C) that
supports 3 A or more.
• Charging is also possible when using a USB PD power supply
with output of less than 30 W, but charging may take a long
time when charging two batteries at once.
• If you use a USB PD power supply or USB cable with
specifications other than those described above, charging
may not be performed properly.
• If two batteries are inserted into the battery charger, they will
be charged simultaneously.
• Depending on the USB PD power supply, the CHARGE lamp
may turn on and off repeatedly before charging starts.
However, once the CHARGE lamp or charging status indicator
lamps stay lit, charging will proceed normally.
Insert the battery pack into the camera.
• Open the battery cover, and then insert the battery pack
while pressing the lock lever.
