TRANSPORT.
The battery is subject to the requirements of the
legislation on the transport of dangerous goods.
The battery can be transported by road by the user
without further impositions. When shipping by third
parties, special requirements regarding packaging
and identification must be considered. In this case,
the services of a dangerous goods expert must be
used when preparing the part for shipment. Only
send the battery if its casing is not damaged. If the
contacts are not protected, cover them with adhe-
sive tape and pack the battery so that it cannot
move within the packaging. Please also note any
additional regulations that may exist in your coun-
try.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION.
The battery is compatible for use with Werku cord-
less power tools.

BATTERY INSTALLATION.
Hold the battery with one hand and the cordless
power tool with the other. Then push and slide the
battery into the corresponding port until the battery
is secure. To remove the battery, press the release
latch and remove the battery.
BATTERY CHARGING.
Insert the charger connector into the battery socket.
Connect the charger to the mains. It takes between
1.5 and 2 hours to fully charge a battery at 20ºC. If
the battery is too hot due to sunlight or other factors,
the charger light may not activate. In that case, let
the battery cool down and then start the charging
process again. Disconnect the charger from the
mains. Hold the charger firmly and remove the bat-
tery by pulling it and store it properly. Due to their
internal chemical composition, batteries that have

never been used or batteries that have not been
used for long periods of time may not be activated,
with the electrical discharge rate being lower during
the first or second use. This is a temporary pheno-
menon, to restore optimal battery activity, you must
repeat this process three times with each of them.
POWER INDICATOR LIGHTS.
The battery has indicator lights to evaluate the
charging status of the battery.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
The materials and components that have been
used to manufacture this product can be re-used
and recycled. Werku is adhered to an Integrated
Management System that is in charge of the co-
rrect elimination of the residues of this product. Do
not eliminate this product with domestic residues.
Werku offers to its clients a free collection service
of these residues through any of its sale points, or
in the collection points established by the Integra-
ted Management System or in the recycling point
of your locality.
WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SERVICE.
Werku offers a warranty that covers the repair of
all defects found due to faults in the materials or
manufacture. For this cover to be effective it is
necessary for these defects to appear within the
validity period. The consumer is entitled to free
repair of all defects (shipping costs, labour costs
and materials included), either via the repair or by
replacement (if necessary, with a later model). In
any case, Werku will not accept replacements if
these represent a disproportionate cost compared
to the cost of repair. This warranty does not affect
consumer's rights established by European or na-
tional laws. The validity period of this warranty is 3
years. The validity period starts on the date of pur-
chase by the first consumer. This date is shown
on the invoice or receipt of purchase. Any claims
arising from this warranty must be presented to
the Werku distributor or the Werku Technical As-
sistance Service. To do so you must present this
warranty correctly completed and stamped by the
distributor, together with the sales invoice or re-
ceipt. To require any information in relation to this
