Sie unterwegs bei jedem Wetter schnell und einfach Ihre Speisen
zubereiten können.
Das Spirituskochset besteht im Wesentlichen aus hart anodisiertem
Alumi nium, einem leichten und robusten Material. Durch das geringe
Gewicht und das kleine Packmaß belastet das Spirituskochset nicht un­
nötig Ihr Gepäck.

Spirituskochset auspacken
WARNUNG Erstickungsgefahr!
Kinder können Teile des Verpackungsmaterials verschlucken oder sich
über den Kopf ziehen. Dies kann zum Ersticken des Kindes führen.
• Entsorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial direkt nach dem Auspacken.
1. Packen Sie das Spirituskochset aus.
2. Überprüfen Sie den Inhalt anhand der Übersicht über den Liefer­
umfang.

Sicherheit
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Spirituskochset ist ausschließlich zum Erhitzen von Wasser und zum
Zubereiten von Speisen bestimmt. Nicht zur Zubereitung stark salz­ oder
säurehaltiger Lebensmittel geeignet (wie Apfelmus, Tomatenpüree, Rha­
barber oder Salzhering). Verzichten Sie auf das Kochen von Lebensmitteln
in Salzwasser und verwenden Sie nur ungesalzenes Wasser. Salzen Sie die
zubereiteten Lebensmittel erst nach der Zubereitung. Als Brenn material
ist nur Brenn spiritus geeignet. Bei alternativer Nutzung der Auflage nur
Original 14 g Esbit® Trockenbrennstoff­Tabletten für das Gerät verwenden.
Das Spirituskochset darf nur im Freien verwendet werden.
Das Spirituskochset immer von Hand reinigen und ordnungsgemäß verpa­
cken.
Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für Schäden
aufgrund nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung übernimmt der Her­
steller keine Haftung.
Bedienungsanleitung
• Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung vollständig durch und beachten Sie
insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise.
• Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf. Falls Sie das Spirituskoch­
set weitergeben, geben Sie die Bedienungsanleitung mit.
Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
• Lassen Sie das Spirituskochset während der Benutzung niemals unbe­
aufsichtigt.
• Kinder erkennen nicht die Gefahren, die beim Umgang mit Brennspiri­
tus, Trockenbrennstoff und heißen Speisen und Flüssigkeiten ent­
stehen können. Lassen Sie Kinder niemals unbeaufsichtigt das
Spirituskochset benutzen.
• Halten Sie Kinder vom Spirituskochset fern, wenn es in Gebrauch oder
erhitzt ist.
• Lassen Sie Menschen mit eingeschränkten geistigen und körperlichen
Fähigkeiten nur mit vorheriger Einweisung und nie alleine das Spiritus­
kochset bedienen.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Brennspiritus für den Spirituskochset
und Esbit® Trockenbrennstoff in Verbindung mit der Auflage. Alle ande­
ren Brennmaterialien sind nicht geeignet.
• Füllen Sie niemals Brennspiritus in den noch heißen Brenner.
• Die Einzelteile werden bei der Benutzung heiß. Lassen Sie diese nach
Gebrauch abkühlen.
Umgebungsbedingungen
Die sichere Verwendung des Spirituskochsets setzt angemessene
Umgebungsbe dingungen voraus. Beachten Sie folgende Sicherheits­
hinweise:

Brandgefahr durch offenes Feuer!
Brände können schwere Personen- und Sachschäden verursachen.
• Verwenden Sie das Spirituskochset nur auf einem ebenen, festen und
nicht entflammbaren Untergrund.
• Benutzen Sie das Spirituskochset nur dort, wo sich keine brenn baren
Gegenstände in der unmittelbaren Umgebung befinden.
• Benutzen Sie das Spirituskochset nicht in einem Zelt oder in engen
Räumen.
Bedienung
Gefäße und Geschirr vor der ersten Benutzung reinigen
1. Reinigen Sie die Gefäße und das Geschirr vor der ersten Benutzung
gründlich von Hand mit warmem Wasser und Spül mittel. Die Gefäße
sind nicht spül maschinenfest.
2. Trocknen Sie die Gefäße anschließend ab.
Spirituskochset aufstellen und befüllen
1. Stellen Sie den Stand auf einen ebenen und waagerechten Untergrund.
2. Stellen Sie den Topf in die vorgesehene Aussparung des Standes.
3. Nehmen Sie den Flammenlöscher vom Brenner ab.
4. Schrauben Sie den Schraubverschluss vom Brenner ab.
5. Befüllen Sie den Brenner mit Brenn spiritus. Der Brenner darf maximal
zu 2/3 gefüllt sein (circa 70 ml).
6. Stellen Sie den mit Spiritus gefüllten Brenner in den Stand.
7. Passen Sie die Menge des Brennspiritus möglichst dem Bedarf an.
8. Eine komplette Füllung (70 ml) reicht für eine Brenndauer von maximal
30 Minuten.
9. 50 ml Brennspiritus bringen 900 ml Wasser innerhalb von 10 bis 15
Minuten zum Kochen.
10. Um Rußbildung zu verringern, kann der Brennspiritus mit Wasser ver­
dünnt werden (im Verhältnis 9 zu 1).
Gebrauch der Auflage mit Esbit® Trockenbrennstoff
1. Stellen Sie den Stand auf einen ebenen und waagerechten Untergrund.
2. Platzieren Sie die Auflage in die dafür vorgesehenen Aussparungen im
Stand.
3. Stellen Sie den Topf in die vorgesehene Aussparung des Standes
4. Platzieren Sie die Esbit® Trockenbrenn stoff­Tablette auf der Auflage.
5. Eine 14 g Esbit® Trockenbrennstoff­Tab lette reicht aus für eine Brenn­
dauer von ca. 10–15 Minuten
6. Eine 14 g Esbit® Trockenbrennstoff­Tab lette reicht aus, um ca. 400 ml
Wasser zu erhitzen oder Speisen zu erwärmen
Mit dem Spirituskochset / Trockenbrennstoff kochen

• Stoßen Sie während des Kochens nicht gegen das Spirituskochset.
WARNUNG
Verbrennungsgefahr durch Stichflammen!
Das Nachfüllen von Brennspiritus in den heißen Brenner ist lebens-
gefährlich.
• Füllen Sie niemals Brennspiritus in den Brenner, wenn dieser noch heiß
ist.
• Kontrollieren Sie vor dem Nachfüllen, ob der Brenner noch heiß ist.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Flamme er loschen ist
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur in einem windgeschützten Bereich
1. Zünden Sie den Brenner an.
2. Regulieren Sie gegebenenfalls die Größe der Flamme mit dem Flam­
menlöscher. Nehmen Sie dazu den Flammenlöscher, und verkleinern
oder vergrößern Sie die Öffnung. Setzen Sie den Flammenlöscher auf
den Brenner.
Beim Gebrauch der Auflage
1. Zünden Sie den Esbit® Trockenbrenn stoff an
• Erhitzen Sie die Töpfe nicht leer. Die Gefäße könnten dadurch beschä­
digt werden.
• Verwenden Sie den kleinen Topf als Deckel, um das Kochgut schneller
zu erhitzen und somit Energie zu sparen.
Flamme löschen
1. Nehmen Sie den Topf von der Kochstelle.
2. Decken Sie mit dem geschlossenen Flammenlöscher die Flamme im
Brenner ab. Die Flamme erstickt.

• Lassen Sie den Brenner und die Gefäße abkühlen.
HINWEIS
• Keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

• Das Spirituskochset ist nicht spülmaschinenfest.
1. Lassen Sie den Stand, Topf und Brenner bzw. die Auflage vollständig
abkühlen.
2. Bauen Sie das Spirituskochset ab.
3. Reinigen Sie die Gefäße mit warmem Wasser.
4. Trocknen Sie alle Teile ab.
Verpacken und Transport
Nachdem alle Teile des Spirituskochsets vollständig abgekühlt und
gereinigt sind, können Sie das Spirituskochset wieder kompakt
zusammenstellen und verpacken.
1. Stellen Sie den Stand in den 985 ml Topf.
2. Schrauben Sie den Schraubverschluss fest auf den Brenner.
3. Setzen Sie den Flammenlöscher auf den Brenner.
4. Legen Sie den gesamten Brenner in die Auflage.
5. Legen Sie die Auflage in den Stand.
6. Setzen Sie den kleinen Topf (als Deckel) auf den großen Topf.
7. Verpacken Sie alles im Netzbeutel.

The alcohol cookset basically consists of hard­anodized aluminum, a
lightweight and robust material. Due to the low weight and the small pack
size, the alcohol cookset does not unnecessarily burden your luggage.

Unpack the alcohol burner cookset
WARNING Risk of suffocation!
Children may swallow parts of the packaging material or pull the packaging
material over their heads. This may lead to suffocation of the child.
• Dispose of the packaging material directly after unpacking the
product.

Safety
Intended use
The alcohol cookset is exclusively intended for heating water and warming
up food. Not suitable for preparing foods with a high salt or acid content
(such as stewed apples, tomato purée, rhubarb or marinated herrings). Do
not cook foods in salt water; only use unsalted water. Salt should only be
added to food after it has been prepared. Only use denatured alcohol as
fuel. In case of alternative use of the support tray, only use original 14 g
Esbit® (0.5 oz) solid fuel tablets for this device.
The alcohol cookset may only be used outdoors.
Always clean the alcohol cookset by hand and pack properly.
All other uses are not intended. The manufacturer does not assume
liability for damage due to unintended use.
Operating instructions
• Read all operating instructions and particularly keep in mind the
safety instructions.
• Please keep the operating instructions. If you pass on the alcohol
cookset, please do not forget to pass on the operating instructions.
Basic safety instructions
• Never leave the alcohol cookset unattended during use.
• Children do not know the dangers that may arise while handling
denatured alcohol, solid fuel and hot food as well as liquids. Never let
children use the alcohol cookset unattended.
• Keep children and pets away from the alcohol cookset when it is in use
or heated.
• Let mentally and physically challenged people only use the alcohol
cookset following prior instruction and never alone.
• Only use denatured alcohol for the alcohol cookset and Esbit® solid fuel
in connection with the support tray. All other fuels are not suitable.
• The single components get hot when the device is used. Let them cool
down after use.

Environmental conditions
The safe use of the alcohol cookset requires appropriate environmental
conditions. Please read the following safety instructions:
WARNING
Fire hazard due to open fire!
Fire can lead to severe personal injuries and material damage.
• Only use the alcohol cookset on an even, firm and non­flammable
surface.
• Only use the alcohol cookset in places where there are no flammable
objects in the immediate vicinity.
• Do not use the alcohol cookset in a tent or narrow rooms.
Operation
Clean the pots and dishes before the first use
1. Clean the pot and the dishes thoroughly by hand with warm water and
mild detergent before the first use. The pots are not dishwasher safe.
2. Then dry the pots.
Assemble and fill the alcohol cookset
1. Place the stand on an even and horizontal surface.
2. Place the pot in the designated opening of the stand.
3. Remove the flame extinguisher from the burner.
4. Unscrew the screw cap of the burner.
5. Fill the burner with denatured alcohol. The burner may be filled to a
maximum of 2/3 (approximately 70 ml (2.5 oz)).
6. Place the burner (filled with alcohol) into the stand.
7. Adapt the quantity of the denatured alcohol to the respective require­
ment.
8. A complete filling (70 ml / 2.5 oz) pro vides a maximum burning period of
30 minutes.
9. 50 ml (1.7 oz) of denatured alcohol bring 900 ml (30 oz) of water to boil
within 10 to 15 minutes.
10. The denatured alcohol can be diluted with water (at a ratio of 9 : 1) in
order to reduce the generation of carbon.
Use of the support tray with Esbit® solid fuel
1. Place the stand on an even and horizontal surface.
2. Place the support tray in the designated opening of the stand.
3. Place the pot in the designated opening of the stand.
4. Place the Esbit® solid fuel tablet on the support tray.
5. A 14 g Esbit® (0.5 oz) solid fuel tablet provides a burning period of
approx. 10–15 minutes.
6. A 14 g Esbit® (0.5 oz) solid fuel tablet suffices in order to heat approx.
400 ml (13 oz) of water or to warm up food.
Cooking by means of the alcohol burner / solid fuel
WARNING
Fire hazard due to open fire!
• Fire can lead to severe personal injuries and material damage.
• Do not touch the spirit­burner while cooking.
WARNING
Fire hazard due to darting flames!
Filling of denatured alcohol into the hot alcohol burner is life-
threatening.
• Never fill denatured alcohol into the alcohol burner when it is still hot.
• Check whether the alcohol burner is still hot before filling.
• Make sure that the flame is extinguished.
• Only use the device in an area that is sheltered from the wind
1. Ignite the burner.
2. Regulate the size of the flame by means of the flame extinguisher by
reducing or enlarging the opening. Place the flame extinguisher on the
burner.
Use of the support tray
1. Ignite the Esbit® solid fuel
• Do not heat the pots when empty. The pots could easily be damaged if
you do.
• Use the small pot as a lid in order to heat the contents more quickly
and to save energy in this way.
Extinguishing the flame
1. Remove the pot from the cooker.
2. Cover the flame inside the burner by closing the flame extinguisher.
The flame is thus extinguished.
3. Let the burner cool down
Cleaning
WARNING
Fire hazard due to hot surfaces!
Hot surfaces can lead to burns when exposed to skin.
• Let the burner and the pots cool down.
ADVICE
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
• Do not use metal sponges for cleaning.
• The alcohol cookset is not dishwasher safe.
1. Let the stand, the pot and the alcohol burner or the support tray fully
cool down.
2. Dismantle the alcohol cookset.
3. Clean the pots and stand with warm water and mild detergent.
4. Dry all parts.
Packing and transport
After all parts of the alcohol cookset are fully cooled down and cleaned,
you can pack the alcohol cookset.
1. Place the stand in the 985 ml (33 oz) pot.
2. Screw the screw cap tightly on the alcohol burner.
3. Place the flame extinguisher on the alcohol burner.
4. Put the entire alcohol burner into the support tray.
5. Place the support tray in the stand.
6. Place the small pot (as lid) on the large pot.
7. Pack everything into the mesh bag.
