Caution:
Please read the following operating precautions before use.
Canton will not be held responsible for any damage
and/or injury caused by not following the cautions below.
Install this unit in a cool, dry, clean place – away from windows, heat
sources, sources of excessive vibration, dust, moisture and cold.
Never open the cabinet. Contact your local dealer or a qualified
technician.
The voltage to be used must be the same as that specified on the rear
panel.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this unit to
rain or high humidity (> 80%).
Do not use force on switches, controls or connection wires. When
moving the unit, first disconnect the power plug and the wires connected
to other equipment. Never pull the wires themselves.
The mains plug should always be easily accessible.
Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm (2") around the DSS 103 for
sufficient ventilation.
Ensure that the ventilation is not impeded by covering the ventilation
openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
Do not place any fragile objects on top or in front of the DSS 103.
Vibrations may break the object and may cause personal injury.
Do not place open fire, such as lighted candles on the DSS 103.
Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the DSS 103.
If you hear distorted noise (i.e., unnatural, intermittent "rapping" or
"hammering" sounds) coming from this unit, reduce the volume level.
Do not attempt to clean this unit with chemical solvents as this might
damage the finish. Use a clean, dry cloth.
Strong fluctuations in temperature may lead to condensation (water
droplets) forming inside the unit. Wait until the moisture has
evaporated before starting up the system.
Replace batteries in the remote control only with the same or
equivalent type of lithium batteries. An incorrect replaced battery
might cause a short circuit.
Please pay attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Secure placement or installation is the owner's responsibility.
Canton shall not be liable for any accident caused by improper
placement or installation of this unit.
