OPERATION
Note: The coffee maker comes with a drip-stop system, which prevents coffee from dripping
out of the paper filter holder (16) if you remove the glass carafe (15) during brewing for a short
while. Ensure to replace the carafe within 30 seconds, otherwise the coffee might overflow on
the top of the coffee maker.
• Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet. The

• After brewing, the glass carafe (15) with coffee can remain on the warming plate (7) to keep the coffee
warm if you did not press the on/off button (10) to switch off the appliance.
• When served, remove the glass carafe (15) from the warming plate (7) and pour the coffee carefully to
ensure that hot coffee is not spilled. Hold the glass carafe by its handle only.
Switching off coffee maker
• After use, press the on/off button (10). The operation indicator (9) turns off. The appliance is now
switched off.
• Let the coffee maker cool for at least 5 minutes between 2 brewing cycles.
Note: The coffee maker switches off automatically after 40 minutes' inactivity.
Setting the current time
• This coffee maker is equipped with a clock timer, enabling you to brew coffee at a pre-set time. To use
this function, the current time has to be set first.
• Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet. The display (8) lights up blue with "
flashing continuously on it (fig. 1).
• Press the Set button (13). "
• Press the h button (12) repeatedly to set the hour (fig. 3).
• Press the min button (11) repeatedly to set the minute (fig. 4).
Note: All settings will be lost after the power plug (6) is disconnected from the electrical outlet.
