chipped branches and reduce the amount of material fed into the machine. The best chipping
results are achieved when branches, rods and other wood are processed shortly after they
have been cut. If you allow the shredded material to dry, it becomes very hard, the maximum
stated diameter of the shredded material is then reduced, and the blades are quickly blunted.
It is ideal for this machine if the material to be processed has a moisture content of approx.
80%.
Certain rules must be observed when chipping. Always feed the branches thicker side first,
stem first and then the branches. For thicker branches, remove the side shoots. To achieve
good chipping, it is better to feed small branches and leaves together with larger branches.
For safety reasons, it is not acceptable to crush short pieces or logs separately. This would
endanger the operator and damage the blades. Therefore, chip such material together with
other branches or straw.
NOTE
Removing the blade blockage
It is possible that the rotor may become blocked during the chipping process, e.g. by
overloading the machine. Follow the steps below to unblock:
Switch off the engine, disconnect the spark plug cable. Wait for the machine to come to a
complete stop, dismantle the filling hopper and the ejection chute. Remove the black cover
from the chipper housing. Using the supplied wrench, turn the rotor shaft to unblock the
jammed material. After removing the material that caused the blockage, reinstall the filling
hopper and ejection chute.
WARNING!
Controlling the safety system
In the event of an emergency during work, press the safety device frame. The machine stops
immediately, pull the safety switch to the left to restart the machine.
Blade gap adjustment
WARNING!
If a lot of uncut material is coming out of the machine or if you notice a deterioration in the
result of the work, it may be necessary to sharpen the blades or to adjust or replace them
(the blades can be rotated in case of wear). Switch off the engine, disconnect the spark plug
cable. Wait for the machine to come to a complete stop, adjust the gap between the blade
and the counter-blade using the four screws on the underside of the chipper housing. The
recommended size of the gap between the blade and the counter-blade is 0,1 - 3 mm
depending on the material to be chipped and the desired fraction of the material to be
chipped. It is recommended to check the optimum blade setting for the chipped material by
test.
The hardness of the wood depends on the type of wood, the time between
pruning the tree and processing the cut branches and how dry the branches
are. The machine achieves the best results if the branches are processed
shortly after they are cut.
(Figure 3)
Use a branch or suitable tool to remove the stuck material. Never use your
hands! The blades are very sharp and could cause serious injury.

Blades are sharp, wear protective work gloves when adjusting or removing
them
