Using FilteredWater
• Forbest tasting water, consumefiltered water as soonas possible. Filteredwater may also be
stored in the refrigeratorfor future consumption.
• Runyour tap with the diverter lever in the FILTERED W ATER positionfor at least 10 secondseach day
before usingyour Cleansui W aterFiltrationSystem.
• Forshorterperiodsof non-use;when the Cleansui W aterFiltrationSystemhas not been usedfor more
than 2 days,flow 1.6 liters throughwith the FILTERED W ATER beforeuse. This can be usedfor plants.
• Donot touch the filtered water outlet with your hands.
• Donot use with hot-spring water, well water or any other water that contains high quantitiesof
impurities.
• Donot use filtered water for aquariumor other marinehabitats.
BestPracticesto prevent leaking,damages,etc.
• Always ensurethat the main unit andfilter cartridge are usedin combinationas a set.
• Turnthe tap on/off slowly.
• Replacefilter cartridge when the flow rateof filtered water drops.
• Use lower tap water flow speedsin areaswith very high water pressure.
• Donot allow Cleansui W ater Filtration Systemto freeze.
• Donot run water with a temperatureof 350or higher through the cartridge/filtered water
mode. Failureto observethis may reducethe effectivenessof the activatedcarbonand result in
absorbedproperties (odours,etc.) which may affect the filtered water.
• Donot run water with a temperatureof 600or higher through the straight tap water or
spraytap water mode.
• Donot obstructthe filtered water outlet or attach other equipmentto it.
• Donot use detergent,alcohol,etc. to cleanthe product. Usewater only.
• Donot submergeCleansuiWaterFiltration System in water during maintenance.
• Donot connectdirectly to water heaters.
• Donot install in locationsthat are closeto open flames or high temperatures.
• Donot dismantlethe unit or filter cartridge. See(10.Troubleshooting)if you think somethingis
wrong.
