Mounting:
 Mount the device on a flat surface. We recommend a mounting plate or a
mounting cabinet (e.g. QMP 3045 or QAS 3045).
 Use the fixing screws supplied with the device and the mounting holes on
the device (A and B).
RF connection:
 Connect the inputs of the amplifier (1) to an antenna suitable for the
respective input. Note: The correct function of the amplifier is only
guaranteed if the correct antenna type is connected to the respective input.
We recommend fitting the inputs with an SZU 6-02 overvoltage protection.
 Connect the output of the amplifier (2) to the antenna wall outlets or
splitters/taps used or to the intended distribution network respectively.
 Use highly shielded coaxial cable with F connectors. Suitable cables and
plugs can be found in the current AXING catalogue or at www.axing.com.
 To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential
bonding, use earthing blocks CFA or earthing brackets QEW at the input
and output of the amplifier, for example.
Power supply
The mains plug (5) serves as a disconnecting device from the mains voltage in
the event of service or danger and must therefore be accessible and usable at
all times. The device is operational after connection to the mains voltage.
Operating indicator:
The green PWR LED (4) lights up during operation.
Settings:
You can use the input attenuators (3) to set the input attenuation for each
input separately from 0 ... 15 dB and thus adjust the level to the reception
conditions and the house distribution.
