Infrared transmitter ВС 154
The infrared transmitter ВС 154 enables remote control of a
complete system of HiFi components. Such a system consists
of the Dual components
HiFi record player CS 650 ВС
HiFi cassette deck C 839 RC
HiFi tuner CT 1540 RC
HiFi amplifier CV 1500 RC.
The infrared receiver for the complete system is in the ampli-
fier CV 1500 RC. From this amplifier, the remote control in-
structions are distributed via simple cable connections. The ге.
cord player, cassette deck and tuner can also be remotely con-
trolled without the amplifier CV 1500 RC. The infrared receiver
RE 120, which can be obtained from specialist dealers as ап ac-
cessory, is necessary for this purpose.
Use of the infrared receiver RE 120 is also recommended if there
are hindrances due to furniture and other objects between the
infrared transmitter and the infrared receiver in the amplifier
CV 1500 RC, or if the system is to be remotely controlled from
another room.
Operation of the infrared transmitter RC 154
You need а 9 V flatcell battery in accordance with DIN 40 871
or IEC 6 F 22 for the transmitter unit RC 154. With average
use, the enclosed battery keeps for approximately 1 year. Only
use leak-proof batteries as replacement.
In order to insert the battery, open the battery compartment
by pushing the cover with a slight pressure in the direction of
the arrow. Place the new battery in position in such a way that
the connecting leads lie underneath the battery. Correct polarity
is ensured by means of the different shapes of the contacts.
When closing the battery compartment make sure that the lateral
tabs on the cover fit into the corresponding recesses on the
housing. Then push the cover downwards and backwards in the
opposite direction of the pointer.
The following functions can be activated with the 32 buttons.
The luminous signal indicates that the transmitter is transmit-
ting an instruction.
