Initial operation

• Delivery, i nstruction on safetyprocedures, h andling and mainle•
nanceandinitialoperation aregenerally c arriedout by ouraulhor•
ized specialist.
• If this is not the case, the operator is responsible(or instructing
machine users.
Commissioning/operation
Pleaserememberthat lhe voltage in lhe buildingbeing cleanedmust
concurwilh thatgivenon the machine'stypeplate.
Assembly instructions
• Themotorheadandbararesupplied separately p acked.
• first release thehexagon socketsrews in lheshaftadjustment unit
(17).
• Thenfeedthe bar(7) gentlyas far as it will gointo the shaftad-
justmentunil (17).
• Align the handle bar (1) parallel with the wheels (9), so thal lhe
open side of the housingof the top shaft element(3) is facingto
the rear.
• Thenlightenlhehexagon sockelscrews again.
• Windthe electriccable(18)aroundlhehandlebar (a) andcable
hook (8).
Preparations for use
• Grasplhe handiebar (1) with both handsand tip the machineuntil
it is restingon bolh wheels(A).
• Thenwheelthe machine to ils placeof workandpluglheelectric
cableintolhe powersupply.
• Laythe accessories ( 11),i.e.brushor driveplatewithpad,on the
floor.
• Nowtip the machine backontothe wheelsand pushil overthe
brush(ordriveplate)untilthedrivestarandbrushflangeareverti-
cailyaligned. L owerthemachine ontothebrush(B).
• Thensqueeze theshaftadjustment l ever(5) andlowerlhebar(7)
into its workingposition.Botharmsshouldbe extendedloosely
downwards(C).
• Alignthe machine horizontally abovethe workingelement(brush
or driveplate),press the swilchlock(4)andpresslhebrushmotor
switch(2)briefly.
• Theaccessoyautomatically e ngages.
Machine use
• Press the brush motor swith (2) (to lhe righl or left). The motor
starts.
• If youraisethebar(7)slightly, t hemachine movesto theright(D).
• If youlowerthe bar,the machinemovesto lhe left (D).
• If youkeepthe bar in its cenlral position,the machineworkson the
spot.
After use
• Squeeze theshaftadjustment h andle(5) andshiftthe bar(7) into
its verticalposition.
Then tip the machineonto its wheels(9) and pressthe brush
motorswitch(2)briefly. T heaccessory ( 11)disengages.
Remove the plug from the power socket and 'Mnd the electric
cable(18)around thehandlebar(1)andcablehook(8).

Fitlheholderfor thespraycanto thebar(7)withtheholderpoint-
ingupwards and,whenviewedfromlheoperatingside,10lhe left
(G).
Hookthe spraycan'slongueontothe holder,pivotingthe holder
backuntiltheballcatchengages.
Thenslidethespringclipovertheshaftadjustment unit(7).
Attach theboxontherighlor leftas desired (H).
Poinltheuniversal-jointed hosein lhedesired direction.
