Reptiles and amphibians are cold-blooded and naturally bask
on sun-warmed surfaces in their habitats to regulate their body
temperature. The Exo Terra Heat Mat creates a thermal gradient,
mimicking the sun-heated surfaces for your reptile's comfort. The
Self-regulating Heat Mat allows for uniform conductive heating,
and thus eliminates concentrated hotspots, fostering optimal
thermoregulation in reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. This
is crucial to enhance their metabolism, appetite, digestion, and
overall physical activity.
