INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Introduction
To get the most out of your new electric kettle,
please read this manual and the enclosed safety
instructions before use. Please also save the
instructions in case you need to refer to them
at a later date.

Special safety instructions
Do not switch on without water in kettle.
Water level must not be under the minimum or
over the maximum filling levels marked on the
water level gauge on the side.
Avoid touching the kettle exterior during use - it
can be hot. Hold by the handle and lid only. Beware
of hot steam when opening the lid.

Always ensure the spout points away from other
surfaces as the steam can cause damage.

Ensure the cable to the kettle base is always fully
max. 1.7 l
extended.
Use
Before using for the first time (or after long-term
storage) boil water in the kettle 3 times.
Open lid (4).
Pour fresh, cold water into the kettle. Check the
water level gauge (2).
Close lid.
Place kettle on its base (3) ensuring the stud on
the base fits into the socket on the base of the
kettle.
Insert plug in mains socket.
Switch kettle on using the On button (5). The
button indicator will light and the kettle will start
to heat the water.
Note! If you press the On button before placing
the kettle on the base, the kettle will switch on
automatically when placed on the base.
The water will boil within a few minutes, depending
on volume. To interrupt boiling, switch the kettle
off by pressing the Off button (6) or lift the kettle
from its base.
When the water is boiling, the kettle will be
automatically switched off by the built-in
thermostat. The indicator will go out.
