3.6. How it works: ON-Auto-Off
1. In Clock Display, Press "I/O" button to switch among ON-AUTO-OFF, we call it as working
Mode
2. When the working mode is under ON, the socket outlet will be always ON , no timer function,
there is always AC power output from the socket; The blue power indicator light will be always
on.
3. When the working mode is under OFF, the socket outlet will be always OFF , no timer function,
there is always NO AC power output from the socket; The blue power indicator light will be off.
4. When the working mode is switching from ON to AUTO and keep in AUTO:
There will be AC power output from the socket; The blue power indicator light will be on. The
socket will turns on/off automatically according to the timers. The blue power indicator light will
be on/off accordingly.
5. When the working mode is switching from OFF to AUTO and keep in AUTO:
There will be no AC power output from the socket; The blue power indicator light will be off. The
socket will turns on/off automatically according to the timers. The blue power indicator light will
be on/off accordingly.
3.7. How it works: House Guard Mode
❖ When clock is between 18:00 to 6:00 and the AUTO mode is on:
Press "RND/-" button to activate House Guard Mode, press again to exit.
❖ In this clock range, the time of pre-set timer will be randomly delayed by 1~32 minutes, in order
to give an image that someone still at home when you actually was leaving the house at night.
3.8. How it works: Countdown Mode
❖ Press "P/+" and "RND/-" together to enter Countdown Mode. The Time-Funnel symbol will be
on the screen
❖ Press the "SET/CLK" button to select and setting the hour, minute and second
❖ Press the "P +" button or the "RND -" button to adjust the data of hour, minute, second
❖ During setting , Press the "I/O" button to cancel the countdown setting
❖ After setting, Press the "I/O" button to start the countdown ; Re-press "I/O" button to exit the
countdown and back to preset countdown time display
❖ Press & Hold the "SET/CLK" button to exit the countdown and return to Clock display

4. Getting Started

1. Check all connections and fastenings.
2. Switch on the photocell timer.
3. Ensure that the photocell timer delivers the expected output.
5. Maintenance & Care
1. Regular inspection: Check the photocell timer regularly for damage and soiling.
2. Cabling: Regularly check the cable connections and plug connectors for corrosion and
tightness.
