PLEASE NOTE!
The volume affects the capacity of the battery. Just so
you know – if you play your music with lower volume,
the battery will last even longer between charging
(like 8h isn't enough?).

GET STARTED
Start by downloading the "MONDO by Defunc"
app where you find your apps (App Store & Google
Play). Add your device, then use your app to choose
equalizer settings, use the presets, or create your own
personalized settings.
You can also use your MONDO Large Bluetooth
Speaker without the "MONDO by Defunc" app and
enjoy the product with the default audio settings to fit
all music genres.
Make sure the speaker is fully charged. Do this by
charging the speaker until the battery symbol on the
display reaches 100%
Press button 1 for 3 seconds to start the speaker, it will
automatically start searching for a pairing device.
When the Bluetooth icon flashes turn on the Bluetooth
function on your device. Select "MONDO BT SPEAKER
LARGE" in the Bluetooth list to pair the speaker with
your device.
When the Bluetooth icon is lit the device is paired and
ready to play. Use button 1 to change track and button
2 to control the speaker volume.
DISCONNECT THE SPEAKER
Click button 6 to unpair the speaker. It will be ready to
pair to another device immediately.
CONNECT MULTIPLE SPEAKERS
WITH AURACAST
If you have 2 or more speakers in proximity of
eachother you can pair them together to play the
same sound through Auracast.
One of the speakers will be the master and broadcast
to the other speaker(s). Pair the first speaker as per
above steps and then press the auracast button (7).
The Auracast Symbol ( ) will appear on the display.
When flashing it is ready and searching for a pairing.
Press the Auracast button on the second speaker
to enter receiver mode. The speakers will connect
automatically. Repeat the steps for unlimited number
of devices.
If you turn the speaker off during auracast connection,
the speaker will still be in master/receiving mode
when turned on again. Leave Auracast by pressing
the Auracast button again.
HOW TO USE AURACAST
When the receiver and the master are paired success-
fully, the receiver sends out a prompt tone, and the
screen displays "RECEIVER"." " When connected, the
master controls the receiver and the controls on the
receiver will not work. Press the Auracast button (7) on
the back of the speaker to leave Auracast mode.
CONNECT ACCESSORIES WITH MIC INPUT
If you have the Mondo Microphone accessory you
can easily plug it in to the mic input (12) and it will be
ready to use immediately. Turning button 3 controls
the mic volume and button 4 controls mic echo. The
AUX port also works with for example most electric
guitars and other instruments.
HOW TO USE THE AUX-IN FUNCTION
Use a 3.5mm (with 3 sections) audio cable and
connect it to the port (11) in the back of the speaker.
Connect the other end to the device of your choice,
double klick the first button (1) to switch to "AUX-IN",
then press play.
VOCAL REMOVAL FROM TRACKS (KARAOKE
FUNCTIONS)
Press and hold the Auracast button (7) on the back
for 3s and the speaker will reduce the vocals on the
track you are playing. The screen shows "VOICE CUT
ON". Turn the vocal back on by pressing the Auracast
button (7) for 3s again. The screen shows "VOICE
CUT OFF".
CONNECTING AND INSTRUMENT
Instrument options: if you want to sing and play an
instrument at the same time connect the mic as
instructed then follow below steps on how to connect
your instrument to the 3.5 AUX-inlet.
You need a cord with a 3.5 (4-sections) plug in one
end and a 6.3 in the other. Insert the 3.5 in the MONDO
AUX (11) in plug and the other in your instrument.
Turn on the speaker, press the second button (2)
to enable "Instrument Mode", screen says
"INSTRUMENT MODE ON"
To turn off the instrument mode, press the
second button (2) again to exit, the screen says
"INSTRUMENT MODE OFF"
To control the instrument volume, press and hold the
second button (2) 3 seconds and the display says
"INSTRUMENT VOLUME X", now adjust the volume
by turning the third button (3).
"Mondo by Defunc" APP
Simply download the app and you will get help with
the settings and instructions in the app. You can
use the app for EQ-settings and as a remote for your
speaker among other features.
CHARGE THE SPEAKER
Plug the USB-C charging cable with the USB-C port
on the speaker. This product comes with a high power
USB-C cable and requires at least 25W power adapter
to charge.
