Unfall- und Beschädigungsgefahr durch falsche Anwendung des Werkzeugs!
Falsche Anwendung der Werkzeuge oder Verwendung des Werkzeugs für nicht
passende Komponenten kann zu Beschädigungen und plötzlichem Versagen von Teilen
deines Fahrrads führen!
• Wartungsarbeiten am Fahrrad dürfen nur von Personen mit Erfahrung im Umgang
mit Fahrradkomponenten durchgeführt werden.
• Die Angaben der Komponentenhersteller müssen beachtet werden.
• Im Zweifelsfall muss die Hilfe eines Zweiradmechatronikers in Anspruch genommen
werden.
Allgemeines / Sicherheit
Diese Bedienungsanleitung muss vor der ersten Verwendung des Werkzeugs gelesen
und verstanden worden sein. Bewahre diese Bedienungsanleitung für späteres
Nachschlagen auf. Verkaufst oder verschenkst du dein Werkzeug, muss diese
Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt werden.

Montage von Pressfit-Innenlagern

1. Montagehinweise des Innenlagers und des Fahrradrahmens beachten und
Innenlager und Tretlagergehäuse gemäß Herstellerinformationen für die Montage
vorbereiten.
2. Innenlagerschalen auf beiden Seiten des Tretlagergehäuses positionieren.
3. Zum Innenlager passende Seite der Presskloben (A/4) auf die Innenlagerschalen
aufstecken.
4. Eine Scheibe und eine Hülse (A/2) auf die Gewindestange (A/1) aufstecken und
Gewindestange durch Presskloben, Innenlager und Tretlagergehäuse schieben.
5. Zweite Scheibe und zweite Hülse auf die Gewindestange aufschieben und Mutter
(A/5) anschrauben.
6. Prüfen, ob die Innenlagerschalen gerade auf dem Tretlagergehäuse sitzen.
7. Innenlagerschalen ohne zu verkanten durch Aufschrauben der Mutter (A/5)
einpressen.
8. Werkzeuge entfernen und Kurbel gemäß Herstellerangaben montieren.
Wartung und Pflege
Regelmäßige Wartung und Pflege sorgen für eine lange und zuverlässige Haltbarkeit
sowie eine uneingeschränkte Funktion. ROSE Bikes empfiehlt folgende Tätigkeiten:
• Werkzeuge sollten sorgsam behandelt und so aufbewahrt werden, dass
Beschädigungen ausgeschlossen und Korrosion erschwert werden können. Die
einwandfreie Funktion der Werkzeuge hängt maßgeblich von deren Zustand ab.
• Werkzeuge regelmäßig reinigen und Metallteile zum Korrosionsschutz mit einem
Universalöl einölen.

General information / Safety
Please read this manual carefully before using the tool for the first time and make sure
you understand everything. Keep this manual for future reference. If you sell or give
away your tool, please also include the owner's manual.

How to remove Press Fit bottom brackets

1. Carefully read the installation instructions for the bottom bracket and bike frame
and prepare the bottom bracket and BB shell for installation according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
2. Position one bottom bracket cup on each side of the BB shell.
3. Fit the correct side of the press-in cups (A/4) to the bearing cups.
4. Fit a washer and a sleeve (A/2) to the threaded rod (A/1) and pass the rod through
the press-in cups, the bottom bracket and the frame.
5. Fit a second washer and a second sleeve to the threaded bar and screw on the nut
(A/5).
6. Make sure the bearing cups will go in straight.
7. Tighten the nut (A/5) to press in the BB cups without getting them tilted and
jammed.
8. Remove the tool and fit the crank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Maintenance and Care
Regular care and maintenance ensure high durability and reliability, as well as unlimited
functionality. ROSE Bikes recommends carrying out the following tasks:
• Handle tools with care and make sure to protect them from damages and
corrosion during storage. A proper functioning of the tools largely depends on their
condition.
• Regularly clean the tools and grease the metal parts with universal oil to prevent
corrosion.
