14. Never place the appliance in such a way that it might fall into
water or come into contact with water or another liquid (e.g.
in or next to a sink).
15. Never submerge or bring the appliance or appliance parts like
motor base, power cord or power plug into contact with water
resp. other liquids.
16. Place the appliance so that it is never exposed to direct sun-
light.
17. Never insert sharp or pointed objects or tools into the appli-
ance openings or reach into them with your hand. The appli-
ance might be damaged resp. risk of electric shock and injury!
18. Do not shake or relocate the appliance while it is in operation.
19. Never leave the milk frother unattended while in use.
20. Only use the appliance as described in this manual. Only use
with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by
Solis, incorrect accessories can lead to damage of the appli-
ance, resp. to fire, electric shock or personal damage.
21. Never start the appliance using a remote or timer.
22. This appliance is only for domestic use and is not suitable for
commercial use.
23. Use the Solis Milk Frother Cremissimo only for frothing or stir-
ring resp. heating milk or hot chocolate. The appliance must
not be used for heating or preparing other foods like cream,
dessert sauce, meat sauce, soups, eggnog or the like. Similarly,
the appliance is not suitable for mixing larger amounts of
dry ingredients or melting larger pieces like chocolate cubes,
ground nuts, large bits of spices or fresh herbs.
24. Never use the appliance with an empty jug. The jug always has
to be filled with liquid. Fill the jug at least to the MIN marking
and to the MAX marking at most.

25. The outer bottom of the jug must always be completely dry
before placing the jug on the motor base.
26. Remove and discard all packaging materials and potential
stickers or labels before using the appliance for the first time.
27. Check the appliance before each use and ensure that the ap-
pliance, power cord and plug are not damaged.
28. In order to avoid electric shock, do not use the appliance if
the power cord or plug are damaged or the appliance is oth-
erwise faulty, dropped or damaged. Never attempt repairs
yourself but take your appliance to Solis or a Solis approved
service centre in order to get it inspected or mechanically and
electrically repaired.
29. People with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities as
well as unknowing or inexperienced people and children must
not use the appliance except when supervised or thoroughly
instructed on how to use the appliance by a person respon-
sible for their safety. Additionally, they must be aware of the
dangers arising from the appliance and know how to operate
it safely. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not
be done by unsupervised children. Under no circumstances
must the appliance be used or cleaned by children under the
age of 8.
30. Caution: The frothing discs might be swallowed by small chil-
dren! Risk of suffocation! Always keep and store the appliance
and the frothing discs out of the reach of children; never leave
children unsupervised when the appliance is in use! Children
must be supervised to prevent them from playing with the
milk frother.
31. Never insert items or kitchen utensils made from metal or
similar material, this might damage the jug and impair the
operability of the appliance.
