The PEPE Manual Stairlift Chair is a chair designed to help transport patients up
and down stairs with as little effort as possible. It has two safety belts for a
completely secure hold and two folding levers at the front for easy transfer.
ASSEMBLY
1. Install the two rear wheels (B) by inserting them into the rear holes. To screw
them on, use the screws provided on the wheels and tighten them using the
screwdriver (G) and the open-end wrench (F) to secure the nut. Make sure that the
brakes are facing outwards.
2. Insert the handlebars (C) into the holes on the side of the backrest and tighten
them with the screws and nuts provided. Tighten them with the Allen wrench (E)
and the open-end wrench (F) so that they are fixed.
3. Pass the strap of the belt through the slots to adjust it and place one at waist
level and the other at foot level, making sure that the patient is well secured.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- To fold the chair. Pull the lever on the back of the chair with one hand and with the
other hand, push the seat upwards until it folds completely.
- To take a patient up or down the stairs. Press the button on the lower handles of
the chair to extend them. Each of the two caregivers takes one end of the chair
(upper and lower handles) and lifts the chair with the patient up or down the stairs.

WARNINGS!
■ When using the chair to transport patients, make sure that the seat belt is
securely locked to ensure safety.
■ Be careful not to tear the surface of the chair.
■ Do not jump or play on the chair.
■ Do not exceed the maximum user weight which is 220 lb.
■ Do not remove the sticker that comes on the product. If necessary, make a note
of the product lot so that you can indicate the manufacturer in the event of an
accident.
■ Any serious incident involving the product must be reported to the manufacturer
and to the competent authority of the member State in which the user and patient
are established.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
■ Clean the product with neutral soaps. Do not use corrosive or abrasive products.
■ Regularly check that all parts are present and that none are missing. If any parts
are missing DO NOT use the chair.
■ When not in use, store the chair in a dry place where there is no possibility of
corrosion.
■ This product can be transported in any vehicle.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
The company warrants this device to be free from defects. The warranty will
remain in effect for 3 years from the date of original consumer purchase. The
warranty does not extend to parts exposed to natural wear and tear that require
periodic replacement.

La PEPE Silla de evacuación es una silla diseñada para ayudar al transporte de
pacientes en la subida y bajada de escaleras ejerciendo el mínimo esfuerzo posible.
Cuenta con dos cinturones de seguridad para una sujeción completamente segura y
dos palancas abatibles en la parte delantera para facilitar la transferencia.
MONTAJE
1. Instale las dos ruedas traseras (B) introduciéndolas en los orificios traseros. Para
atornillarlas, utilice los tornillos que vienen en las ruedas y apriételas con ayuda del
destornillador (G) y la llave fija (F) para fijar la tuerca. Asegúrese de que los frenos
quedan hacia fuera.
2. Introduzca las manivelas (C) en los agujeros situados en el lateral del respaldo y
atorníllelas con los tornillos y las tuercas que vienen en las piezas. Ajústelas con
ayuda de la llave Allen (E) y la llave fija (F) para que queden fijas.
3. Pase la cinta del cinturón por las ranuras para ajustarlo y coloque uno a la altura
de la cintura y el otro a la altura de los pies asegurándose de que está bien sujeto el
paciente.
MODO DE EMPLEO
- Para plegar la silla. Estire de la palanca situada en la parte posterior de la silla con
una mano y, con la otra, empuje del asiento hacia arriba, hasta plegarlo
completamente.
- Para subir o bajar a un paciente por la escalera. Apriete el botón situado en las
manivelas inferiores de la silla para extenderlas. Cada uno de los dos cuidadores
coge de un extremo de la silla (manivelas superiores e inferiores) y elevan la silla
con el paciente para subir o bajar la escalera.

¡ADVERTENCIAS!
■ Cuando utilice la silla para transportar pacientes, asegúrese de que el cinturón de
seguridad está bien bloqueado para garantizar la seguridad.
■ Tenga cuidado de no rasgar la superficie de la silla.
■ No salte ni juegue sobre la silla.
■ No supere el peso máximo de usuario el cual es 100 kg.
■ No retire la pegatina que viene en el producto. Si fuese necesario, anotar el lote del
producto para poder indicar al fabricante en caso de accidente.
■ Cualquier incidente grave relacionado con el producto debe notificarse al
fabricante y a la autoridad competente del Estado miembro en el que estén
establecidos el usuario y el paciente.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
■ Limpie el producto con jabones neutros. No utilice productos corrosivos ni
abrasivos.
■ Compruebe regularmente que están todas las piezas y que no falta ninguna. En
caso de que faltase alguna pieza NO utilice la silla.
■ Cuando no la utilice, guarde la silla en un lugar seco y sin posibilidad de corrosión.
■ Este producto puede transportarse en cuaquier vehículo.
INFORMACIÓN SOBRE GARANTÍA
La empresa garantiza que este dispositivo está libre de defectos. La garantía
permanecerá vigente durante 3 años desde la fecha de compra original del
consumidor. La garantía no se extiende a piezas expuestas a un desgaste natural
que requieran un reemplazo periódico.
