The CS 032 is a compact enclosure heater with fan and PTC heating
element for heating enclosures with electrical or electronic components.
Heating can prevent both low temperatures and condensation on
installations.
The heaters must only be used in stationary, sealed housings for
electrical devices. The device is designed for ambient air in dry indoor
areas. he device must not be operated in environments with aggressive
atmospheres. The device must only be operated in an environment that
ensures contamination class 2 (or better) in accordance with IEC 61010.
Contamination class 2 means that only non-conductive contamination
may occur. However, it is likely that there will occasionally be temporary
conductivity caused by condensation. Heating units must not be used for
the heating of rooms.
Installation may only be carried out by qualified electricians in compli-
ance with the country's electricity supply regulations (IEC 60364). The
technical specifications on the type plate must be strictly observed! To
achieve optimum air circulation, the heater should be installed vertically
in the lower section of the control cabinet, with the air flow direction
upwards. The heater is connected via push-in terminals to the nominal
voltage specified on the nameplate. The device must be connected to
mains via an all-pole disconnecting device (with contact gap of at least
3 mm in the switched-off state).
Heating units without an integrated thermostat should be connected in
series to a suitable thermostat for temperature control.
The user of the heater must ensure through installation that components
which are mounted above the air outlet grating are not damaged by the
hot outlet air. Dismantle the heater only after it has cooled down.
No changes or modifications must be made to the device.
The device must not be repaired or cleaned. The device and packaging
materials must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner
after use in accordance with the applicable national regulations.
Caution! The heater must not be mounted on easily flammable materials
(wood, plastic, etc.).
Caution! Observe minimum distances to neighbouring elements! (see
graphic)
Danger! ALWAYS operate the heater together with fans (only applies to
heater fans)! RISK OF OVERHEATING!
