MOTOR SECTION
MALFUNCTION
The motor does not run.
The motor runs very slowly.
The motor section gets warm.
The motor section whistles
loudly.
Motor vibrates.

Sheep Clipper
CAUSE
No power
Faulty cable
Faulty switch or motor.
The overload protection
switch tripped out.
Carbon brushes are worn
down.
The rotor or stator is
defective.
The air filter is blocked; air
can no longer circulate.
The shearing tension is too
high.
Faulty bearings (cleaning fluid
has damaged bearings).
Reducing gear and shafts
have no lubricant
Rotor runs untrue (caused by
a sharp knock).
Bearings are worn out.
RECTIFICATION
Check lead and fuse.
Have it checked and changed
by a service center.
Have it repaired by the service
center.
Push in.
Have carbon brushes replaced
by the service center.
Have the rotor and /or /stator
replaced.
Remove the air filter and clean
it with a brush or replace the
filter.
Do not tighten the pressure the
shearing pressure adjustment
head so much. lf the blades
still do not cut, they should be
re-sharpened or replaced.
Have bearings replaced.
Have reducing gear and shaft
lubricated.
Have the rotor replaced.
Have bearings replaced.
