Intro
This document describes installation, commissioning, operation,
maintenance and troubleshooting aspects of the Frese ROL-S actua-
tors for Frese OMEGA and Frese Butterfly valves.

FIG 2 - Actuator and valve assembly:
A: Apply grease to the valve stem and actuator drive.
B: Close the butterfly valve clockwise and adjust the actuator
manually to align the valve stem and actuator drive.
C: Assemble the valve and actuator using bolts and tightend all
bolts securely.

FIG 3 - Installation positions:
Please observe the free space over the top cover to ensure
maintenance. The actuator can be installed in any position.
Limit switch
Whenever a new actuator is mounted on a valve, the limits switch
must adjusted according to below. If the limit switches are not
adjusted the lifetime of the actuator can be severely damaged.

FIG 4 - Switch Cam Calibration:
With the power off, remove the cover and manually rotate the
actuator to the closed, clockwise position.
