Operation
Three different EDID modes can be set using the button on the device and are
indicated by LEDs on the front panel.
Auto EDID Mode
In Auto EDID mode, the lowest resolution and the audio format of the connected
devices are determined in order to output a suitable signal for all outputs.
Copy EDID Mode
In EDID copy mode, the resolution and audio format of output 1 is used for the
output of the signal. If the resolution supported by the other output device is lower
than that of device 1, the resolution is scaled down and the same audio format,
HDR format and Deep Color as for output 1 are retained.
Downscaler Mode
In downscaler EDID mode, the 4K input resolution is output to 4K displays and
scaled to 1080p on Full HD displays.
Note
The downscaler function only supports 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and 4:2:0 (HDR 10)
signals that are downscaled to a 1080p signal.
